My Powers Suck Support Group

Do your powers suck? Are you tired of having to greet the day with optimism when you accidentally shoot fireballs when you sneeze? It doesn't matter what your powers, abilities, or species is. If you're feeling frustrated with your day, come to a Support Group Meeting to vent and join in some fellowship.

General Information:
The My Powers Suck Support Group is a Anonymous Support Group for students feeling frustrated with their powers, abilities, species traits, or other qualms. The group meets regularly after school in the Empty Classrooms and features a Group Text Message for students to vent to each other and provide support throughout the day.

Members are encouraged to keep what is discussed in the meeting confidential and not to spread rumors about the other students.

A group moderator will do xir best to make sure conversation does not turn into the pain Olympics; there is to be no comparing as to whose powers suck more. Members can attend without speaking or sharing.

Many students linger before or after the meetings.

Thread Format:


Feel free to create individual threads that take place before, after, or during a "my powers suck" support group! Assume there is coffee, tea, water and some snacks provided.

There is also a Group Text Message! Feel free to have your characters respond to the message to stay active in the club without having to commit to a full thread.

Since it's an anonymous meeting, I won't keep a formal list of membership allowing anyone to come and go as they please.

However, I will tag @Boop @WorldDevourer @Darion @Taylor's Ghost in this thread since we discussed plans in the interest check or other threads.


For future references, it can also be assumed that my character Ven aka Moon Moon is present at the meetings.

I'd love to do a 1/1 thread with Ven and another my powers suck support club member going out...and then having something bad happen with their powers. Any takers?

Going to bump this! Moon Moon will definitely be looking for new people to join the club as part of his student council project. Anyone interested in throwing a new character in?
