He couldn't help but blush a bit as they walked and talked, Lycia's smile seemed extra pretty tonight. "Yes of course," he'd say when she asked him to describe things, "you won't have to worry about that." It was going to be a special show, something he'd picked out especially for tonight.
They arrived at the building, he'd stop briefly at the doors to hand over their tickets before leading Lycia in. He'd describe the hall to her, how it was pretty, but simple. He'd find them their seats, with servers appearing to offer them both food. Soon they were settled in nicely.
"The show should be starting soon," he'd say, quickly checking the time on his phone and shutting it off. The musicians began to appear on stage with their instruments, with him describing them to her.
Then it began. The music start slow, lovely music, the magic reaching out to their minds to show them the first images. They'd be show a balk room and dancing colors, the colors at times forming into colors. All moving in sync with the music. It was a form of hallucination, but quite harmless.
He'd scoot a bit close to her, just in case she got scared. "Do you see?" he'd ask, both happy and nervous.
