The walked from vendor to vendor, Joran's intelligent eyes looking over everything, taking in every last detail. Ren floated above his right shoulder, the drone had proven useful, beside him walked Eumelia, the older girl had been one of his first friends on the island. He didn't realize it yet, but maybe his feelings went a bit deeper than just friendship.

"Thank you for coming with me," Joran told her, Ren speaking for him in a calm voice. "There's much to see and do up here, it's nice, seeing it all with you," he stopped and looked at a display of alien art, a hologram display showing pieces from different planets.

"It's odd," he looked back to her, his head tilted, "Earth and it's people are vastly different from the aliens that visit this station yet...," he gestured to the art, "they all have art and writing, something that connects them all."

Eumelia was enjoying looking at everything with Joran. It was all very interesting; she was trying to get used to Earth culture, but this alien stuff was just as fascinating.

”You are very welcome. Indeed, it is quite pleasant to enjoy this alien convention”, Eumelia said sincerely, looking at some of their art.

”I suppose the reason for that is that art is so universal”, Eumelia said in response to the second statement. “People everywhere seem to enjoy it, so it would seem like it is everywhere”, she said, examining the hologram. “It is a wonderful thing, being able to create and then show the world your creation”, she said.

"Yes, to create," he ran his fingers through one of the holograms, "it's an amazing thing." He wanted to do that, create, "maybe one day your poetry will be on display for reading, it certainly is beautiful enough," he looked at her, his face blank as usual, but his eyes showed he meant every word.

He noticed another another section of the hologram display in a room, he lead Eumelia into it. In the center of the room was a tower of holograms, with a pedestal in front of it. Stepping forward Joran read the instructions, "it says these holograms can controlled here."

Pressing one of the buttons a holographic band appeared, playing smooth beautiful music, Joran's eyes lit up at the sight and sounds, "it's incredible." Pushing another and holographic dancers appeared, dancing slowly to the music. Joran tilted his head, "I've seen anyone dance before."
