Mood swings really aren't fun.

As he was pulled into another hug, Sabriel laughed, and just hugged her back. "Great? Alright, then great it is," he told her. It was nice being hugged, it really was. Once she let him go, he put his hands into his pockets and merely smiled at her.

"Thankyou so much...nobody...has ever given me a hug before..."

The boy frowned. "I'm sorry," he said, even though he wanted to tell her that that was just plain cruel. "But don't worry. If you ever need a hug I'll be happy to give them to you." He offered another smile and started walking toward the school again.

As she took hold of his hand and started running with him, Sabriel laughed along with her. He was really having a fun time with her. If he had just continued walking on and hadn't spoken to her, he wouldn't have known how wonderful of a person she was.

Upon hearing her plan, the cat eared child grinned and nodded. "Alright," he told her. He slowly entered the cafeteria, staying close to the wall and walking toward the freezer. It was all he could do to keep from laughing, and he was tempted to use his powers, but he didn't know if there were any shadows near the freezer.

So, the young male merely continued walking, wondering if they would get caught or not. It probably wouldn't matter anyway if they did get caught.

"Oops."

Sabriel cringed as the hinges made that loud noise, and his ears pressed down against his head. After a moment, he looked around, and even though it probably wouldn't matter if someone came, he quickly grabbed two container's of ice cream and two plastic spoons. "Come on," he said, and gently closed the freezer door.

The thirteen year old started walking away from the freezer, still trying not to laugh. At that moment, though, quite an odd thought went through his mind, and he wondered if he should actually start taking his medication so he didn't lose her friendship.

Nah... he finally answered himself, shaking his head. That had been a weird thing to think. He didn't need those stupid pills, and even though he didn't know how Ella might react to his constant changes in personality, she would just have to get used to them.

The boy's ears pressed down against his head when he heard the footsteps and he slowed down a little bit. However, once they faded, her started walking at a more normal pace. Once Ella asked where they could go, he thought for a moment. "Lounge? It's not too late, so there will probably be other people there and we won't get in trouble."

Sabriel exited the cafeteria and just looked at her, waiting for a response.

Once she grabbed his hand again, Sabriel fought back a blush. Before, he hadn't thought anything of it, so what had changed? He merely shook his head and dismissed the thought. After entering the lounge, the boy looked around as well, and wasn't surprised to see people he didn't know there. He hadn't been here extremely long, and he wasn't exactly what one would call social.

Sabriel sat down on the couch next to her and took the lid off of his container of ice cream. He stuck his spoon into it, though wasn't able to get anything since the ice cream was pretty much frozen. "Haha, yep!" he said in agreement to her previous comment. "It's been WAY too long since I last had ice cream. Hehehe."

As her spoon broke, Sabriel turned to her. "Do you want me to get you another one?" he asked her. He would have offered her his own, but he had already licked what little ice cream that was on it off. He was pretty sure she wouldn't want his germs.

".... I've only had it once before, I believe!"

Upon hearing this, the thirteen year old's jaw dropped. "You poor, deprived child..." he said quietly. "From now on, you need to start eating it more. A life without ice cream is NOT healthy." He laughed and offered a smile, halfly joking and halfly serious. Not having ice cream was slightly insane, he had to admit. Then again, she hadn't exactly had a wonderful past, so that may have been the reason.

"Just let me think...I can get one eventually. The ice cream is too hard right now anyways!"

The boy blinked, confused. "Huh?" he asked, not understanding how she would be able to get one just by thinking. He didn't say anything more, though, and sighed, putting his container of ice cream on the table, putting the spoon in it again. "Yeah. Still too hard." Sabriel pouted, wondering how long it would take for the ice cream to become more edible.

"Considering theres tons of sugar in this food, I'm not so sure I believe you!"

The male grinned. "Why Ella, didn't you know one must have a ton of sugar in their diet to remain.... uh..." He blinked, trying to think of the word. "Oh, yes, healthy, ha, forgot for a second." He shook his head. "But anyway, yes. Lots of sugar isn't good for your heart, but it's good for your mind and it TASTES GOOD!"

Oh, wow. Sabriel hadn't acted like this in a really long time. Not for three years... it was refreshing to actually be happy for once.

"Well, I am able to rearange and change atoms to make them do as I please. Thus, I am able to create...a spoon!"

He poked her arm lightly. "You didn't tell me that you could do that," he said. Then again, he hadn't exactly told her everything about his power, either. Well, she would most likely see it tomorrow when they went to practice on the lawn.

".... so I am unable to make this spoon do my every whim! Haha!"

Sabriel laughed. "You're so evil," he said, obviously teasing because of his wording and because of the tone in his voice. "Making a poor little spoon do your every whim. Evil indeed."

"I can't help but wonder what it tastes like...I forgot..."

"Well, uh..." The thirteen year old paused. He had been about to try and describe it, but with his lack of descriptive skills, that would probably end up not too good. "It tastes like ice cream. Yeah, I'm not much help."

"When is the last time you had ice cream?"

He thought for just a few moments, trying to figure out when he had last had ice cream. "Um... I think last month. It's too cold during the winter for ice cream anyway," he said.

"Of course I didn't. I try to be 'secretive'."

Sabriel laughed softly. "Ha. Well, I'll admit, there's another part to my power that I didn't tell you," he said. "But I don't feel like explaining it. You'll just have to see it tomorrow." He stuck his tongue out, then looked at his ice cream. The boy poked it, only to find that it hadn't really softened. He sighed, wondering how long it was going to take.

".... My next plot is going to be sporks, of course..."

"And then forks and knives?" the thirteen year old said, laughing again. Spoons, sporks, forks, and knives... oh, dear, what was this world coming to.

"... I can't wait for summer!"

"Personally, I like winter," Sabriel said. "Snow is fun to play in." Besides, spring and summer brought up some memories for him that he would rather not have.

"And yeah, I guess it does," he responded to her asking if it tasted like cream that was cold.

"Mwahaha, of course!"

Sabriel laughed. "Will you let me have part of the world when you take it over?" he asked. He was joking, of course, but controlling a part of the world would make him feel special, not to mention powerful. Both of those were feelings he had rarely felt in the past.

"... The only good thing about winter is...well...not much really...."

"You don't like snow ball fights?" he asked, blinking. Snow ball fights were the best part, in his opinion... it was the only time he was really 'violent'.

".... I have bad memories too."

The boy frowned. "Bad memories suck," he said. If only this world could actually be a good place... unfortunately, he was sure that would never be the case.
