Nessandra was stuck.

Her amulet had fallen off and, almost instantly, the young woman had transformed into a giant, long necked dinosaur. Since she had flippers instead of arms, it was difficult to move, and her bulk sort of filled the hallway.

She was wedged between two rows of lockers and her tail was stuck in the door going to the stair well. It was lucky that she was longer rather than taller, because she would have felt horrible had she damaged the ceiling, but that was part of the reason Nessandra was stuck.

She was too afraid to try and thrash her way free. She didn't want to destroy property.

Worse yet, her amulet had rolled several feet away, and now Nessandra couldn't reach it no matter how far she stretched her neck.

She let out a sad, clucking noise in the back of her throat and rested her head against the floor. How embarrassing. She was going to have to ask the next person who came down the hallyway for help....if they didn't run away first.

Ai was humming to herself, it didn't seem like there was anyone else in the halls. She was wearing her wool clothing, even in this kind of tropical climate she still felt cold without. As she moved down the halls holding her books she looked around. She turned around a corner and she couldn't quite believe what she saw...each step came slower then the last...

That...was...a...big...MONSTER. Cringing she took one step back as she began to breath quicker. It looked to have big teeth...and was so BIG. She was about to scream but her breathing didn't seem to allow her to. Looking about she noticed that the creature was stuck. "H-hello?" She said as she was shaking in her boots...

A person!

Nessandra lifted her head up and extended her neck to try and get closer to see the figure. Her eyesite was not that great, and her glasses were unfortunately only usable in her human shape. Her slit-like nostrils flared to capture the scent of this new comer.

She made a clicking noise in the back of her throat.

"Hello," she tried. Luckily, the enchantment on the school made it easy for her to communicate. Nessandra tried not to sound so desperate. "Please don't run away!"

Oh dear...it was getting closer as it extended is neck, she seemed to be just barely beyond chomping distance but Ai was to scared to move. Then the monster seemed to smell her as it seemed to not have good eyesight seeing it attempting to squint.

Then it began to speak to her... Ai was still trying not to hyperventilate even at it's request for her not to run she still felt the urge to bolt away. However as she tried to move he for back a step she felt it hit something, when she hesitantly looked behind her she found an amulet.

However not wanting to take her eyes off of the monster she looked back to it. Seeing it's predicament again she tried to speak up again. "C-can...I...h-help you?" though she didn't know if she SHOULD be helping this creature.

"Yes, please," Nessandra said, hearing the small creature's question of help. She sighed and knew her breath smelled like fish and Nessandra was embarrased.

"My name is Nessandra," she said. "I don't want to hurt anyone, but I'm...I'm very stuck."

her voice was a mixture of clucks and sharp, high-pitched sounds in this form. It was sound meant to travel under lake waters.

"I'm missing...I'm missing a necklace. I cannot see well, and I cannot reach it, if you could find it for me I could...I could get out of the hallway," she said. She looked pleadinly in the direction of the speaker.

A...a necklace, That was all? huh...But why did she need it? Trembling Ai looked around and moved her foot again as it moved once more it bumped the necklace that was on the floor. Pausing a moment to look around Ai leaned down picking it up. It seemed rather simple for an amulet. "uh...is this it?" She said lifting up the necklace so that it was closer to the dinosaur as she was now noticing.

"S...so...how do you...put this one exactally? D....Would you...like me to help?" She was warming up a little but she was still quite shaky seeing this creature sitting in the hallway but as she realized it wasn't going to eat her. "Nessandra right? That's a pretty name...My name is Ai..."

"Hello, Ai," Nessandra said. When she said Ai, the words came out thicker, the traces of an accent hovering, so it sounded like 'aye'.

"I would...if you've found it, I would appreciate the help putting it on, I'm afraid I can't--"

Nessadnra's voice was cut off by the sound of a high pitched siren.

There was a fire alarm. Students began to pour out of the rooms only to get stuck behind Nessandra.

"Hey fat ass," someone shouted. "Get out of the way, you're a fire hazard."

Nessandra lowered her head sadly onto the ground next to Ai.

"I'm..I'm sorry," she said to Ai. "I would appreciate your help."

Nodding Ai was about to gather the courage to put the amulet/necklace thing around the creatures neck, their tone was not harsh and begun to sound a little pleading allowing Ai the nesseceary head way of not being so shy towars the large creature.

That was however until the fire alarm went off startling Ai and makimg her sprint for the largest friendliest thing near by. That being the creature in front of her at that moment. The next Ai and probably Nessandra as well was Ai shaking like a leaf pushing her face into Nessandra's side.

Each blare of the alarm made her renew her shaking it wasn't until she heard someone say that Nessandra was being fat and a hazard that gave her enough clarity of thought that she considered how her siblings might react... The one that stood out the most was her brother Ox. He wouldn't be scared of anything. With that she felt a slight surge as she begun to feel courageous allowing her the time to loop the necklace around Nessandra's neck and fasten it.

"Thank you!" Nessandra said.

Her voice lowered and so did her body. The air around her seemed to mist and transition until the monster in the halls was gone and in its place stood a young woman with messy hair, large glasses, and an oversized sweater.

She was relaxed considerably, although the young woman was still quite alarmed.

"I don't know where to go with the fire alarm," Nessandra said. "Do you think you can show me the way? I'm still new here.."

She looked down at her feet and toed the floor.

After her burst of courage Ai felt a slight fatigue but she also felt the return of her fear. She buried herself into Nessandra not noticing how the monster turned into a woman. Each blare of the alarm once again forced another set of shivers to run through her body.

Growing up in a somewhat small village in the Himalayas Ai was still getting use to everything humans made. Her least favorite were the loude noise making ones. Car horn's, sirens, those sort of things. So much so Ai didn't even hear Nessandra speaking to her asking if she knew what to do in a fire drill.
