Wei woke up determined.

He ran out of his room full tilt and he was determined.

He was determined because this was the time of year for elections and he was not going to not run.

Like always, his arms were filled with small treats. Home made fortune cookies with Miss Shellie's help. She'd admitted to handing something out to other competitors already, but Wei was undetered. He could do this.

He would win this time.

Finally, the monkey stopped and set his box down, climbing up to a higher perch and he called out to everyone to come get some.

Marina Bellamy was running too! Being Queen Bee was a lot of hard work, and she'd rather not have an incident like last years. She was setting up her campaign too when she saw Wei's. She waved at him.

"Wei! Glad to see you're running too!"

Wei was calling, and a few faces he recognized came up to him.

Well, it was easier to not mince words. He knew almost everyone, except shut ins and new people. He said hello to everyone basically all the time.

"Hi Marina!" Wei said, leaning over his perch. "We're up again this year, huh?" He winked. "Lets hope we all get what we want this time."

Marina grinned, putting her hands on her hips. "So do I! You know, we worked pretty well last time, you, me, and Morgan Ferris. Seems like competition's kind of tough this year, though. What's your thoughts on them?"

Marina nodded and made a crushing gesture with her fist. "We'll crush 'em, Wei! They won't know what's coming to them!" She walked over to where he was. "Need any help with your thing?"

Wei laughed. He wasn't going to be quite that cruel with his statement, but there was a certain degree of trust the student body had in him and the other SC members. He laughed as she offered to help.

"Sure," He said, pointing to three medium sized boxes filled with fortune cookies. "Just help me round up people to pick fortunes."

"Sounds easy enough!"

Marina turned around and started waving at everyone around. "Hey, everyone! FREEEEE FORTUNE COOKIES OVER HERE!"

As soon as people heard Marina Bellamy's voice, they started gathering around the table. "Vote for Wei Hu Sun and Marina Bellamy again this year, guys!"

Wei stretched and moved in a radius away from his box to coax some people who were a little less fond of Marina to get some cookies. As much as Wei thought she was great, he knew some people who would disagree. He didn't want to lose their votes here.

"Remember, hold on to your fortunes if you get one that's blue or yellow!" School colors. Always a seller.

Those people were probably squares, or people she's shoved in a locker. Both? Possibly both. Insignificant normies.

But, hey, most of the general public liked her, because she had a likable public face. Her box ran fresh out in a few minutes. A cheerleader outfit and a bright, bubbly persona sold pretty well with the masses. She tapped the bottom of her box at Wei's direction, as if to ask if she should hand out more.
