Keira sighed. "It's hard to teach something when you don't have first-hand experience with it. Probably why so many people don't trust teachers involved in the dark arts. Damned if I do, damned if I don't, right?"
"I'm not that mature, really." Even though he was sadly, 20, his maturity level was pretty high. A lot of people that were the same age, or older seemed to act more like preschoolers than college students. That was fine; he ignored them as Acellyn laughed in his head. He kind of had to watch who he talked to anyways, as if Acellyn didn't like them, it was bye bye to that relationship.
"Well that's why you have students right? IF they ever get pissy about your teaching- Just make them do it eh?" That would scare them for sure. It would be one thing to learn all this, but to actually do it without any help.... It didn't sound pleasant.

She breathed out pleasantly, looking at her board. "Thank you for letting me practice. It did make me feel better."
"If you ever decide to, make sure to get me so I can watch it unfold." It sounded really amusing to watch a bunch of students that think they are know it alls endlessly mess up. "It would be a blast, really." He chuckled as he took a few steps back, feeling as if their time together would end soon. "No, thank you, it was nice to learn about a topic I had no clue about." He wanted to hug her, or do some weird handshake chest bump thing. That would probably freak her out though.
"I don't mean to sound rude but-" He started before Acellyn butted in. 'OMG you flirt, are you going to ask for her number?' She teased as he went up behind Keira and gave a shocked look on her face, as if that was how she would react. Pario shook his head even though it did nothing. "Uh, n-num-ber? Have I can?" He covered his mouth as he blushed. Why was he so nervous? "MAY I PLEASE HAVE YOUR NUMBER." He shouted out, as the words had been caught in his throat.

"Yes, of course." She went back to her desk to scribble out her phone number and give it to him. To Keira, this was mostly still innocent. She had never dated, not really. No more than a few kisses here and there. She wasn't used to people taking an interest in her romantically.
"Call anytime you want," she told him with a smile. Keira wanted to make a joke about how he should check the paper to make sure it had all the digits, but she thought that might stress him out, so she refrained.
He was... Actually getting her number? Pario wanted to scream in victory, or jump around with the piece of paper in his hands. Either way, he was glad when he heard her words. "Nice." Was the first thing he said. He grabbed the paper like a new born baby, holding it gently as he stared at it. He counted. Okay, at least it was a real number. He has gotten fake ones before.
"I will." He smiled eagerly, knowing that he had a new friend to chat with. He had someone to chat with, for the first time in forever. He took out his phone and added it in as quickly as he could, not wanting to be rude. "I'll cherish it Keira."

Nero slipped out of the room before either of them and trotted down the hall and out of sight. In Keira's head, he informed her he was going to wait outside. She had no way of answering him while she focused on Pario, but she knew she didn't need to.
"R-Right!" His nervousness was still there mildly, but after a few deep coughs, he woke out of it. "Got it." He opened up his phone again, started a new texting chat and simply texted 'Hello it's Pario' To her. That would easily get the message across. Afterwards, he stepped out of the room, even though it felt weird that he was not opening and holding the door. "Thank you." He said as he waited outside the room for Keira.
"Where are you walking to?" He would ask once she had left the room and gotten to his side. "Do you have somewhere you have to be after this?" Pario didn't want to sound too flirty, considering that they had only met not an hour ago. Calm down Pario, calm down.

There wasn't a lot of ways to feel like a freak on Manta Carlos, but Keira had always been a hint shy about her cat's eye. There was no reason for that; it was no worse than the large chunk of hair missing on her tail where a scar had formed. That was harder to see, however, as she often kept it tightly wrapping her waist, like a furry belt.
"Did you want to get a bite to eat? Is that why you were asking?" Keira had never been much of a dater, but she was old enough to realize that sounded suspiciously like asking someone out. She didn't mind, considering he wasn't a student in her class. If he had been, she'd have had to reject the invitation, even if it were on a mere friendly level. "I wouldn't mind eating out with you," she continued, having realized he was an anxious guy and likely would have fretted had she left her answer a mystery.
They walked in silence until they were outside. It was nice out, which made for one less thing for Pario to worry about. He kept his mouth closed until she talked, as he didn't want to reveal what his words had meant. 'You're such a sap' Acellyn echoed in his mind as she swirled like the wind beside him. He ignored her completely, as her words didn't matter to him.
"I-Oh." He blushed as he collected his thoughts. "Would that be alright? I can pay and choose a good place to eat and stuff." His sentence was choppy and all over the place as he tried to collect himself. He needed to regain what little confidence he had left. Pario looked at her, wondering why she wanted, or even considered going out with him. "It would be nice to go out with someone for once." Yes, it may have sounded a bit like a cry of loneliness; but how could he not be?
