Mindscape

Him and Celeste had hung out quite a bit since they made that video. She was a fun, cute girl, he was happy he'd found someone to spend time with, he didn't act like it, but he often got lonely. Today however, they were going to do something different, today he'd show her something he'd never shown anyone.

Taking her hands, he smiled calmly, "close your eyes and clear your mind," and just like that, they were no longer in his dorm. Instead, they were standing on top of a tall hill, a huge field and forest below it, the sun almost setting, a beautiful site.

"This is my mind palace," he released one of her hands bur still held the other. "It's sorta like a world in my mind, anything can happen here," and just like that, dinosaurs appeared in the field below, wandering about, eating, acting like real animals. "Anything I can think of appears, so what do you wabt to happen?"

He chuckled, "anything," suddenly the air around them suddenly filled with beautiful lights and beautiful music to match. "You're the first person I've ever showed this to," the dinosaurs below continued on, completely un-bothered by the lights.

"Its....its my own little world," he smiled at her, "usually it's just me here." The lights continued to swirl around them, he was trying to make this a special experience for her, something she'd really love.

"So, my lovely friend," he leaned in close, and whispered to her, "what do you want to see? What do you want to do?" It was oddly intimate to him, having her here.

Bowen smiled, and just like that, the sky shifted to night, one without the pollution and smog that affected a lot of the world. The moon was bright all the stars could be seen, the ones hidden in the real world, points of beautiful light, a sight very few had ever truly seen. "What do you think?" he asked, his eyes glowing slightly.

"Beautiful isn't it?" he looked up at the stars, "back home at the farm, I could see the stars like this, we were far away from the city." He missed his home, but it was gone, along with his family, he'd come here, to mind palace, to remember.

His arm found its way around Celeste's shoulders, "you're the first person I've shown this to." Bowen looked back to her, a small smile on his face.

"You're welcome, and I'll bring you back here any time youwant," his hand brushed a but 9f hair out of her face. "Stars are nice, always shinning, though I've seen prettier things," he'd been alone for so long, yet here he was, sharing his mind palace with someone.

Before he realized it, he hand his arms gently wrapped around her, his lips pressed to hers in a kiss. It was his first kiss, by the time he was old enough to think about dating, his life had fallen apart. After a moment, he slowly broke the kiss to look at her.

He was worried she'd be angry, it'd been something of a surprise kiss, it had been unexpected even for him. "I'm sorry, I just....," he didn't really have an explanation, he did quickly lean in and gently kiss her again, a more brief kiss.

Smiling, he kept his arms around her as the vision ended and was replaced by the real world. They were once again sitting on his bed, he soon found his arms around her again, and found his lips pressed to hers and what followed was truly unexpected.
