"A pretty big thing to forget"? It almost saved him the trouble of asking his next question. His heart rate increased. He was still nervous in situations with women that weren't just random girls that he had met at bars or the like. Still, it was better this time than it was better than it had been the last time since he had gotten a bit more practice. He had found a way to think about it that had made it something he could apply his business experience to.
"I.. Was wondering if that meant anything? I mean to you... I was hoping to revisit, or at least talk about.. maybe being.. or well dat-ing." He managed to stammer. He had found a way to think about it but that didn't make it the same, and he was still like a nervous high school kid when it came to talking to girls about anything relationship oriented. It wasn't exactly seen as a desirable quality and he really needed to work on it, thus he stood strong, his posture, facial expression, and hand position showing extreme confidence while his voice betrayed his nervousness. Apparently not all of his methods of expression were on the same page.

OOC: It's no worries :) and we can do that when you're back back. In the mean time this one is good as long as you're still having fun.

"I didn't really give it much thought?" She added a slight higher pitch that changed it into a question that she kind of wanted to be confirmed that either she should have thought about it, or shouldn't have. Max could hear his nervousness in his voice and felt a slight twang of sympathy for him, as she was nervous too. She wasn't sure what she was nervous about but even so it was still there. She smiled faintly at him so he could relax a little and not feel so on edge or powerful, softness was just as charming and masculinity. She was too powerful for her own good and softness softened her and made her a little more comfortable in her own skin and setting. "Of course you can talk about, if you want to," she said coolly allowing him to make the decision about the next flow of conversation.

He almost face palmed as he realized that his nerves had led him to badly word his statement. He closed his eyes and cleared his mind briefly.
"I'm asking if you'd like to make more out of that one occurrence." As soon as the words left his lips he was back to being nervous. Still he had already spoken the hard part and he took a step towards her, followed by another, and finally he sat on the couch next to her, but stared at the floor.
"Unless I read too much into it and it was meaningless... Originally I wasn't planning on it being more than just a whimsical kiss, but I find myself thinking about it from time to time and... Is any of this making and sense." He finished as he looked up at her face. He wasn't sure why he was looking for more, but he was uncomfortable with sharing too much of himself and thought she would be able to understand.

Max wasn't sure how to act at this point, she gently shifted her weight until it was lightly resting on hers and then looked at him and tried to drag his attention so that it primarily focused on her and blinked at him. She tried to flutter them but she wasn't good at that kind of thing as she had been watching all sorts of videos with "girl fashion tips"; all as fake as the other. And all did not help except how to make her eyes look big when wearing mascara and that was not what was on her top priority list currently.
"I don't know. I've never done that sort of thing before, it was nice. I liked it, I really did but I don't know anything really about this sorta stuff. You know more than I do and you're a blinking werewolf..." She realised that could have been taken in an offensive way and it was intended like that so she quickly added, "which is cute, by the way." She began to sweat a little on her hands and she could feel them becoming increasingly clammy. Who would have known the presence of another could provoke such unusual bodily reactions.

Zachary mentally shrank a bit, but externally he kept the emotion off of his face. It was disconcerting, but Garou were taught at an early age that lasting relationships were few and far between. As such he should have come to expect it but a part of him was still a bit deflated. Ego maybe? She was very skinny, but she was still beautiful, at least from his perspective.
"Soooo... No." He said with a chuckle. "Though I can honestly say I've never had my status as a werewolf referred to as 'cute'. Still, I can't say I'm not a bit disappointed." He finished, looking at her eyes as he spoke. She had his attention, but he figured he had better change the subject. To what he had no idea...

Max made her hands do a little dance in the air because she didn't know what to do for sympathy, she had let him down and felt awful about it. "I've never been looked at in a desirable way, if that's what you think of me as and that's deeply warming, I like it. But I'm a bit skitty I guess at the moment... but you're cool and I like you." Max gave a low hum and stood up and wandered across the room and threw her head back over her shoulder "I don't suppose you have a library?" She felt slightly flat and low and wanted to sit among some books if not that then the woods would do, but it was too rude to leave his company just yet and he gave good company.

He laughed, briefly remembering he had invited her to his archery range. Still she had asked for books and he could oblige that.
"I do, but i'm afraid I don't have anything horribly interesting. If you'd like to follow me I'll show you to it." He said, leading her off and passing by his bedroom on their way to the library. That also gave him some ideas, though he ignored that, revealing his thoughts only in a brief smile, continuing to lead her to the library instead.

When they got there it would reveal itself to be a large circular room with books over every shelf. Most of them were on philosophy, some were Garou books with modified covers, some were hollowed out and had guns in them, but overall it was a fairly diverse collection.
