Daniel yawned to himself as he walked around the abandoned rooms of the school, a tape measure clipped to his belt and a notebook in his hand. He'd been going around all day, going through each abandoned room and taking stock into it's size, state of repair, as well as whatever furniture might remain. A few rooms were locked, and had shown to be recently occupied, and he marked that down as well.
Part of his campaign was about re-purposing the abandoned rooms after all. He wanted to have a good count of how many there were, and the different styles of room, maybe mock-up some test maps for designing.
He'd been doing this almost all day, having started right after he got finished with his classes, and he was starting to slow down. It was easy to see how monotonous it got, simply wandering through empty room after empty room. He was almost hoping for something interesting to happen.
