Biology... That was of the right branch at least, but still rather far from what he was looking for, Emil mused. Then again if he kept thinking like that he was never going to find anything. He had to take every option he got or he was never going to get anywhere. He gave a small smile at the girl's enthusiasm, hoping as much as he could that she wasn't going to take it as him laughing at her. Her happiness was just contagious, he could not help it. "Okay, let's try that way." He confirmed and began walking down the biology section.

As the two walked, Emil looked around himself in an attempt to find any signs or directions pointing them at a more accurate section. Biology was good but it... Kind of grossed him out a bit. He understood the need for it and respected the practice but he himself was just too squeamish to handle it. Before he let his mind wander on, he turned towards his new acquaintance. It would be rude to just walk like this in silence, not to mention awkward.

"If we could just find physics or chemistry, that would bring us a bit closer to the right place..."

Flayace stopped walking. "Physics or chemistry?" She looked at the boy and smiled widely. "Hold on then, one second." She closed her eyes and breathed in and out. she looked around in her mind for somewhere that would lead them in the direction he wanted. AT least they were in the right section. She smiled and continued looking.

After a few seconds, she found it, both of them. They were both pretty close together, which made sense. "We have to take the next left, then go straight for two bookshelves. For Physics that is." She paused. "Chemistry is the next right, then only one straight." She opened her eyes and looked at the boy. "Is that good?" She smiled and laughed a bit.

Emil smiled in return, though a lot calmer than his improvised guide. The girl was practically bubbling with energy, to the point where he wondered how someone could be this happy to show a new student around. Maybe she was just one of those people who enjoyed helping others, but the young psionic could still not shake the feeling that he was being a bother. It was rather ridiculous and on some level he knew it, but the guilt was still there. He had made this other student take time out of her schedule to walk with him after all.

Once given instructions Emil looked to his left. Both fields were the right general topic, science, but he had a feeling that he was going to have better odds if they went by the physics section. Chemistry was more relevant to Earth and Earth alone, really.

"Let's try physics." Emil said, hoping that he was not coming off as bossy while he turned to walk to his left. Once the two had begun walking, he turned to Flayace again. He was honestly rather curious what she did earlier when she closed her eyes. His first guess had been trying to remember the right way but she was also new, so he doubted that was it. The only thing he could think of was that she used her ability somehow and while it was a potentially sensitive question, Emil was just too curious about others like him. He had to know.

"Um, if you don't mind me asking, what were you doing earlier..?" He finally asked before quickly adding "If you don't want to answer you don't have to, I'm just curious."

"Ahh." She paused. "It was my power." She looked over at Emil and smiled. "If I close my eyes, I can see things, people and stuff, without actually being there." She nodded. "I can hear conversations, remember what people are wearing, try to find my way around the school..." She trailed off.

"Stuff like like that. It can only be in a certain distance from me though." She finished. She felt as if she had a love hate relationship with her powers. She hated and loved them at the same time. They were useful and could help a situation. They were evil because she didn't always like to spy on things, like she did sometimes. She tried not to use it when she didn't have to, so that she could try to be normal. Her eyes didn't help though, always changing colour and making her emotions stand out more then normal.

That was... Certainly an unique, if slightly worrying ability in Emil's eyes. This girl didn't seem like the type to spy on people, but that ability still gave a lot of options for invading one's privacy. Then again, he could read minds, so he really was not one to talk. Furthermore, he didn't want to offend her, so he simply went with "I can imagine that to be pretty useful." Before suddenly stopping.

There it was. Right up at the top of the bookshelf, the small bronze plate read "Astronomy". The section was enormous, just as he had hoped. Instead of continuing on the topic of powers - which honestly was a bit too invasive for his tastes anyway - he pointed at the sign with a happy "There it is!"

He smiled brightly and walked into the astronomy section. Shelves upon shelves of books, he recognised many of the titles just by skimming over them. These were old, some of them incredibly rare, books. The ones he had heard about and wished he could read. All the weeks spent in his room, reading away and watching the stars with his telescope...

With a small grin, Emil began looking over the titles he was interested in, picking out a few right away. Excited, but not forgetting his manners, he turned back to Flayace.

"Thank you so much for showing the way."

HE seemed super happy to have found this section. He must really like it. Flayace nodded at the boy, with a smile. "Anytime. You are nice so it was easier to help you." She laughed a bit, not wanting that to sound like an insult.

"It was fun. I don't always get the chance to help people." She was thrilled to have been able to help Emil. She kind of felt honored in a way. She paused and thought that maybe he wanted to be alone now, to read and have fun.

Maybe he wanted her gone, or thought that she had no interest in stay around. "You need anything else?" She looked up a bit. "Any more questions?" She put her hands behind her and smiled.

Emil seemed slightly confused for a moment, as he snapped up the thought of leaving from her. He hadn't meant to, he just dropped his grip on his telepathy for a second as he was watching all the books. Leaving? She was of course completely free to come and go as she wished, but it kind of felt like they were friends now. They had gotten along rather well and she seemed like a rather nice person. But again, he didn't want to sound clingy or weird in any way. He chose his words carefully before speaking up.

"Well, no, I think I'll be fine now." He said before smiling at her. "You're welcome to stay here though. I mean, I'm really into this stuff so I will probably bore you with all of it, but still."

She nodded. She was a bit happy, because she also wanted to look at the books here. Flayace smiled at his response. "I'll stay." She laughed and bit and become very happy. She had made a new friend, and she was happy about that.

"Thanks." She liked Emil, even though they had not known each other for very long. "What is your power, if I can ask." She may as well know, if she can. "I also, like science and astronomy, but it isn't my favorite." She corrected.

"And um, I am 16, if that matters." She bit her lip a bit and her eyes changed. She was nervous or embarrassed, for some reason. Great, she didn't need that, but she let it go. Her eyes turned a bright pink in show.

Emil nodded at her as she decided to stay, if rather relieved. Good to know he hadn't been bad enough to scare her away. "We can sit here" he quickly chipped in, motioning towards an empty table where he was quick to sit down with the rather daunting pile of books on his side. He was really not that strong, but you could do some rather amazing things when properly motivated.

When she asked about his power, however, he quieted down for a moment. He wasn't that big a fan of talking about it, considering how unstable it was. He might even seem dangerous or risky to be around, which he absolutely did not want. Then again, he might offend her if he said nothing, so with some hesitation, he reluctantly responded.

"I...I'm a telepath." He began. "I can hear thoughts of others and that kind of stuff." He was worried that she would react negatively to that, but let's continue. "I'm also a psionic. I can move things...Throw things...Break things just by thinking about it." Every pause had been made with slight hesitation, but he figured he might as well be honest. "I can't really control that too well either..." He finished, looking down. Considering what he had seen others do, he felt rather ashamed of his lackluster control of his abilities.

But! He wasn't going to show that outwardly and be a downer. That was just being a bad conversational partner. So when she mentioned her age, he looked up and gave a reassuring smile. They were practically the same age. "Seventeen."

She sat down quickly, eager to hear his response. "Telepath. That amazing!" She smiled at him. She had always wanted that power, for some reason. She had always found is amazing. She laughed a bit and looked into his eyes. They were pretty. She loved to look at eyes, because hers were so different.

"I have never heard of your other power, but it sounds really cool." She smiled to reassure him that it was indeed okay. She wasn't scared of it, she didn't even think that it was dangerous. "Every power can have a side effect, it's natural" \She paused. "Mine wasn't the best when I started off, but I learned to control and maintain it." She smiled. "It will get better in time." She laughed a bit, trying to make him feel better about his power.

Seventeen? God, that was awesome. She couldn't wait to be seventeen, and he thought that it was really cool that he was that age. "I like that age." She paused and laughed a bit, stroking her arm, saying she was worried. "I was worried that you were a lot younger, or older then me."
