After ducking and weaving through the crowded halls and some throughout reading of the map he had gotten himself, Emil had finally found his way to the library. He had been nervous, not to mention rather stressed out due to the constant barrage of voices as he pushed his way to the library doors. He had found his way though and when he opened the doors, his problems felt like they... Washed away.

Shelves upon shelves upon shelves of books. All kinds, he was guessing, as he could see books ordered both by genre and year. As the boy walked forward and began looking around in the vast halls, he could hear his own footsteps echoing throughout the enormous library. This... This was something else. He had never seen anything like this before. Not to mention that the small number of students around and the widespread area made these halls very easy on his mind.

Emil had just found his new favourite part of this school.

Nit wasting any time, the boy began walking along the various shelves, running a finger over the backs of the innumerable titles. Of course he was trying to be as quiet as possible, he didn't want to bother anyone, but it was hard for him to contain his excitement in a place like this. Still looking up at the ceiling in awe, Emil began walking deeper into the library...

Flayace was super excited. She looked down at her clothes, looking at her shirt, her shoes, her new scarf and pants. She had wore a very silky looking shirt, with different colors all over it, intertwining with one another. There were reds, blues, greens, blacks and purples, as if it was a tie dye shirt, which it kind of looked like. She scarf was a different story. It was pure black, with the hem being silver. Her shows were just a nice part of converses, with black to accent her scarf, and vise-versa. She New pants were jeans, with a color that was in the middle of light and dark. Her jeans were easily the lightest thing of her outfit. On her pant pockets, there were little touches of silver hemmed into the outline of the pants. 'What a wonderful outfit,' She thought.

She had been a bit busy here, getting settled in, trying to make new friends and trying to see everywhere. The time she so much wanted to spend in the huge library. She finally got her break, her day just to, do what she wanted, at least for a bit. She sighed as she entered the room. It was huge, and beautiful. She smiled as she looked around the room, laughing to herself a bit. She loved books, even if she had not read in a long time. She started to walk around, even though she had been in here before, she had not spent much time in the library. She actually had time to do the things she wanted, to explore and look around at the vast collection of books.

It was oddly quiet today, even for a library. She didn't see that many people here, or maybe they were further in. She was about to walk down to see if her thought was true, then hesitated. Her smile vanished as she thought. Her eyes changed color as she looked away from where she was going to go. She could walk there, or she could use her power. She was a bit puzzled on what to choose. Usually in this situation, she would just use her powers, but today felt different, as if when she would walk around, something new, something unexpected would happen.

She closed her eyes and looked around the room quickly, seeing if that though was right. book, books and more books. She continued and saw someone, and didn't know why she had not seen him before. She looked at him for a second, perplexed a bit, then opened her eyes. She rubbed her eyes and put on a small smile, change her eyes color to her natural green. 'There.' She said inside her head. She decided that she would do both. She had already used her powers, so now she was going to go look around the huge room.

She breathed in and out and started walking into one of the middle of two row of books. the shelves were huge, as if someone had worked ages on it, to make it perfect. She examined one of them, smelled one, it smelt fresh and new, which she liked. She paused to see what the subject was. History. She glared at the sign for a second, that subject was not her favorite. She continued to walk though, not being bothered by anything. She even hummed a bit, to make the experience of walking, more fun. There were so many books, it was amazing. All of the different colors, types, shapes, sizes, subjects, it was beautiful. She smiled a bit as she passed hundreds of books.

After a few minutes, she spotted the boy she had seen earlier with her powers. She smiled at him, though he wasn't looking at her. He probably didn't even know she was there. He was cute, even from a distance. She then realized that he wasn't really looking in her direction, and smiled to herself. 'Of course he won't see you, you are too far away and even if he did, how creepy would you look?' She thought to herself and then knew she had to change her approach. She went over the row he was in, looking at a book that actually caught her attention. It was a green book with golden words on the front and the spine. There were little flowers and berries in the corners. They were engraved. She admired the book for a second, then looked over in the direction or the boy. "Hi." Flayace said wit ha smile.

Emil continued his way among the bookshelves, looking up every now and then to look at the small bronze plate telling him exactly what kind of books he was looking at. Biology, ick... It was important of course, but Emil himself got sick just thinking about it. History, not his thing in the slightest, baring a very few exceptions. Hm... He wondered where he could find the astronomy or science sections, that is more what he was interested in. Not that he needed to read, honestly. He just liked walking around here.

Suddenly, he began picking up something. White noise. Thoughts. Someone was walking by, as he could also hear by the footsteps. Well, that is to be expected. He wouldn't think that he would be alone in the library at this time, that would just be silly. The young boy chose not to mind it, walking on among the shelves, still intent to find the section he was looking for.

"Hi."

Emil turned around, clearly confused. Had that been directed at him? Why would it be, he did not know anyone here. Had he done something wrong? When he did see the source of the voice however, he calmed down. Another student, about his age or so. She looked rather friendly and her smile did nothing to deter from that. He was guessing she had just decided to start conversation? Well, not one to object, Emil looked at her and put on a small smile himself.

"Oh, hello."

Flayace smiled at the boy. She could tell if he really wanted to talk to her or not. She didn't care though. "Do you need some help?" She tilted her head a bit, and put her hands behind her. What was he looking for? Anything special? Or maybe he was just new. "I am Flayace by the way." She grinned and laughed a bit, trying to be cute and welcoming to the boy. "I don't think I have seen you around. I am new here though, so that might be why."

She put her hands to her side and then looked at her shoes quickly. "What is your name?" Flayace took out her right hand, but before she full extended it, she looked at the ring he wore on her middle finger. It was a gift, no, she found it. The first time she had ever went metal detector finding, she had found this. It had a very weak signal when she had found it, because only one part of it was metal. There were piece of metal on the edges of the loop of the ring. The rest was some other materiel, some other type of strong thing. In the middle was a rock holder thing, where you put the jewel. It had vines going up the side of the jewel, it was a pretty sapphire. She smiled at her hand, then looked up and fully extended her arm for him.

Emil was... Slightly confused regarding the girl's behaviour. Of course he was glad that she was friendly, it was always nice being welcomed. When she mentioned that she was new however, he perked up. Another new student? She was acting awfully confident for being new to all this. Then again, maybe his newcomer nerves weren't as common as he had thought. He gave a respectful nod as she introduced herself. He cleared his throat before speaking up, making sure that his voice was clear.

"I'm Emil Riley. Nice to meet you."

He took her hand and shook it, giving a small, polite smile. He had been taught his manners well as a child and it showed. Of course, he had gotten more and more careful with them as he got older, but that wouldn't be possible without a solid ground from how he was raised.

"It's no wonder that you haven't seen me before. I'm new myself, this is my first full day on campus."

He let go of her hand and stood upright again. The boy had a soft, intelligent gaze and made sure to continue looking at his conversational partner, though not staring and being intrusive about it. He had noticed the sudden focus the girl had laid on the ring on her finger, but he wasn't going to ask. That was not his place in the slightest.

"Wow, you are really new then." Flayace laughed a bit at that. His first day. Her's was horrible. No one really talked to her, even greeted her when she entered the school. It kind of made her sad. "I have been here longer then that, maybe half a month at the most." She nodded to confirm that what she had said was right. "It is nice here, you will like it." She paused. "Though, people aren't as friendly, I guess." She Sneezed quietly, she had a cute sneeze. It was quiet and made her look innocent, and for the most part, she was. She looked back up at Emil.

"Welcome to the school, to the island Emil." She gave another one of her award winning smiles at him, looking at him, examining him quickly. he wondered what his power was. It had to be something cool. Maybe he was a good fighter? or he could read minds. Of course, she couldn't be sure unless she asked, but she didn't. There was a silence for a second as the eyes drifted away from him and she secretly counted and thought of what it could be. She eyes changed color as she thought, she knew that he was probably going to notice, so she stopped thinking about it and darted her eyes back on him. "What she you looking for?" Books, he was looking for books. She put her hand behind her and smiled a bit, though her eyes didn't change back.

People aren't as friendly here? This... Was curious to Emil. Granted, he had only had any longer conversation with two people so far, counting this girl, but he didn't see any big problems so far. This school honestly seemed rather friendly and welcoming so far. Then again, maybe that was going to change in the future, once people got to know who he was... Emil looked down thoughtfully, rubbing his hands together in thought. Now he was worried. Nothing would happen, right? For crying out loud, this school was established for the sake of getting the "gifted" away from public eyes. To avoid seclusion. Not to mention that many of the children here have incredible powers. Surely, they must have some kind of special system to handle bullying or hostile behavior. Right..?

He was honestly so lost in his thoughts so he didn't notice the shifting of the girl's eyes. Or at least did not think too heavily about it. Nerves and worry had once again overcome him. When she began speaking again however, he quickly straightened his back and cleared his throat. He had to pay attention to someone when they were speaking, that's one of the most basic rules of etiquette on the map.

"Thank you for the welcome." He said, returning a smile at her in turn. When she asked what he was looking for, he actually had to think for a bit. He had really just been looking for a quiet place and came across the library, which had taken up most of his mind since. In an attempt to not seem to strange however, he decided to go with a half-truth.

"Oh, don't bother yourself. I was just looking for the astronomy section, if there is one."

Flayace nods. She didn't want to scared him with what she had said, but he kind of felt as though she had. "You get used to it, it really isn't that bad here. It is a lot better then the regular stuff." She gave a slight smile and her eyes changed back to normal. "There should be a section, somewhere, this library is big enough to peretty much have everything." She looked around the room, looking at the wall, the roof, the floor. She ajusted her scarf and repositioned her feet. She was being rather boring, even for her. She don't know how to fixx it though, these things usually just came naturally to her. "I could help you find it, I have nothing better to do."

Emil nodded to himself. Yes, it wasn't this bad here, right? It was just a school. It had it's up and downs, surely, but he could get over that. There was no need for him to worry. He looked back to the other girl, doing his best to return the smile and... Did her eyes just change color? He blinked and shook his head, trying to make sure if he had imagined that or not. Maybe it had something to do with her power, as everyone here most likely had one? Well, he wasn't going to ask either was, that was just being invasive. That kind of thing could be invasive or rude for who knows how many reasons.

"I could help you find it, I have nothing better to do."

He would certainly not mind being showed around, he reasoned, but she might also be busy and he wouldn't want to inconvenience her. Then again, had she been busy, she probably wouldn't have made the offer in the first place, right? He decided to give an appreciative smile and nod.

"Yes I would like that very much, thank you."

"Sounds good." Flayace smiled and nodded her head. His boy was nice, really nice. She was usually pretty nice, but she had her down moments, mostly because of her power. She thought for a second, thinking that thinking about it wouldn't change anything. She looked at him and wondered where exactly he wanted to start. She was new here too, she didn't know where everything was, though it would be hard no matter of you were there for a days or a year, the place was huge.

"Let's get started then." She smiled and started to look around, looking for a sign that said science, or astronomy. Could there be an entire section full of astronomy? Probably. She saw the sign, or at least saw something that was close to astronomy, a part of science at least. "Biology. It looks like it might be down there." She pointed behind the boy with glee. She remembered to keep her voice down though, making sure that she kept her cool, and that she didn't destrub the librain or anyone else. "Shall we try that way!"
