Ray sighed. "Come in. I need to take something for my head." she said, a little sharper than she'd meant it to sound. She pulled his sleeve to get him moving, and then shut the door behind him. She grabbed an asprin and downed it with a glass of water.

She then became aware that about as much of her was covered as it was by that dress, and she crossed her arms over herself protectively. "You didn't...exactly make me uncomfortable, and you didn't say anything wrong... I just..er..It's..That is..It was a lot of information to take in with what I assume was a hangover." She gave up crossing her arms, deciding that he'd seen her in the dress. She ran a hand through her hair again, noticing the purple bruise that was spreading across her knuckles. "That and, err...." she flushed a little bit and shifted her weight. "You said you shouldn't have let it go that far...What exactly..." she looked at the floor, "is..That Far?" she nibbled nervously on her lip.

Chris let her pull him into her room, a slight blush tinging his cheeks. How could he put his feelings into words when even he didn't understand. But he'd give it a try, she obviuosly wanted to hear.

"Long story short, I didn't want the next time we kissed to be because you had a few drinks. But I couldn't help myself, and now I feel like I've taken advantage of you." His gaze never left the patch of carpet at his feet. He wasn't even sure that was the whle reason, but it was most of it. He shoved his hands into his pockets to refrain from touching her.

What was next? He sure as heck didn't know.

Ray sighed again. "Don't feel like that. I wasn't drunk enough to not know what I was doing." She moved forward a few steps. "In fact, I remember most of the evening." She took a few more steps closer. "Did you ever think that," a few more steps, "Maybe I wanted to kiss you?" she was directly in front of him now, with only a few inches to spare.

She tentatively brushed her fingers against his cheek. "As a matter of fact, I didn't want to put your prize on your cheek yesterday." her lips curved into a wry smile, "I wasn't brave enough." She dropped her hand to her side, standing just inches away from him, but not touching him again.

Chris looked up when she touched him, a small smile on his face. "Do you think that's where I wanted my prize?" He laughed a bit, eyes following her hand when she dropped it to her side. "What do you think, does a movie sound good to you right now? I can grab my car while you get dressed."

He didn't trust himself to just stand here and look at her, not after her little speech. Nope, a darkened movie theater would be a great place right now, it might help him. Especially if she couldn't see the goofy smile that was now perma-glued on his face.

Ray flushed, her heart galloping at a hundred miles per hour. "Yeah. Okay. Sure." she mumbled, moving backwards to put space between them. She waited for him to leave before picking out her clothes.

She chose a pair of nicely fitting jeans, and a dark red tanktop that hugged her in all the right places. She let her hair down and brushed it out, and then left to find Chris.

Her stomach was fluttering and she was jittery. She felt like giggling and she wasn't exactly sure why. That and she was more than a little bit nervous.

Chris sat in his car, hands nervously tapping out a little tune on the steering wheel. He was jittery, more than he had ever been before. He wasn't even sure why he was so nervous, it wasn't like he didn't know Ray so it was unlikely that he could mess up. But still, the situation was nerve wracking.

He spotted Ray leaving the building and waved her over, getting out of the car to open her door. "After you." He bowed, managing to wipe the smile off of his face. He waited till she was settled in before shutting the door and walking over to his own side and getting in. Chris pulled the car smoothly out of the parking lot and contemplated what route to take to the movies. Short or long? Decisions, decisions.

"So, ehh. Any ideas on what you want to see?"

Ray glanced at Chris in the car, and a slow smile made it's way onto her face. "Well you know, there's not any movies I'd like to see..." she paused for emphasis, and looked out the window, formulating her lie so that it was seamless. "But I've never been paintballing. It might be fun. I mean, you'd have to teach me, of course, but it would be fun." she grinned at him and brushed her hair behind her ears. "You up for that?"

"Paintball?" If Chris knew she was lieing, which he didn't, he still would have gone along with it. "I'll go for that. It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure I could teach you. I could use some practice at the targets anyways."

Chris quickly got into the turning lane, glad that the paintball place was nearby. He turned and parked in the lot, looking up at the sign that advertised various other activities. "Shall we?" He walked up to the desk and registered them for a game. He grabbed their equipment and splatter clothes, handing her the oversized sweater and pants. He pulled his own over his clothes, while looking around for the target practice.

Okay, there it was. Chris lead Ray towards the targets and fired a few practice shots at the bullseye, managing to his one in the centre. "Basically you've got to keep your arm steady and align the muzzle with the bullseye." He stepped behind her and wrapped his arms around her to direct how she should hold the gun. "Like so."

Ray followed his suit, putting her finger to her lips and grinning secretively at the course manager in a motion to warn him not to say anything about her 90% perfect accuracy rate, or that she'd ever been here before.

And then she followed Chris in. She allowed him to wrap his arms around her, and leaned into him slightly, pretending to pay total attention to what he was saying. She shifted against him, and held the gun like he'd directed. "So then I pretty much just shoot at the target and see if I hit it?" she looked up at him questioningly. "How do you aim?" she questioned innocently.

"Yeah, pretty much." He left his arms around her for a moment longer before stepping away. "To aim? My strategy is pretty much shooting at anything that moves so you could try that technique, or you could use the crosshairs." He tapped the part on the gun and stepped a little closer, extremely proud of his teaching methods, even if they weren't that great.

"Be careful that you don't get hit when you're checking your target, people tend to get a little carried away in here" He remembered his first time paintballing and getting hit in the back on the way to check his accuracy. What fond memories.
