Calan noticed that Arabella moved away from him when she noticed his fangs. That didn't entirely help his situation, but he didn't show that it made it worse - even his tail kept this secret. Instead, he just covered his fangs with his lips again, subconciously vowing not to show them again if he didn't have to. It was slightly amusing, though, when his temporary nick name for her seemed to make her sick... Girls like her were always fun, but usually limited to a platonic relationship in his expiriance.
Hmm... She reminded him of Bree... He really needed to tell Bree he moved, huh...?
Calan realized that his tail was out, right about then. To some, this probably wasn't such a big deal, and it wasn't really to the teen... When no one was around to see it. But, when he was in the company of others, that tail tended to show all of his emotions... With a seemingly normal movement, he tucked his tail under his shirt and curled it around his waist, those familiar little chains jingling slightly. Yep. No more publicity for this roller coaster, that's for sure.
The vampire nodded at Arabella's next words, showing he agreed.
At Levi's smart yet neutral comment, Calan fixed him with a small look, taking a sip of his coffee before answering. He was thinking... What did he know on hemorrhagic fever? 'Um...' Wait, could demons even get human diseases...? Wait again! 'What's his problem? I'm so not being a smartass right now... Not yet, anyway,' he thought, though it didn't show. After setting his coffee down after a shirt sip, he responded, "Ah... I'm better with physical injury than disease." Calan had heard of the fever before, but it wasn't on the list of Wikipedia pages he had studied thus far. "And I so did not imply that,"[/b] he added as an amused afterthought.
Though he couldn't say he knew what had just crossed Ara's mind, he definitely agreed. He couldn't tell how tall Levi was as they were sitting, but he was definitely petite in frame... And maybe he had seen better - not many, but Brooke topped everyone ever - but the demon was cute... was pretty a better word? Calan liked cute though, or whatever the proper adjective was. That promoted a mental frown though... Why couldn't he be cute...? He was tall, handsome, sexy even - not his words; he was told so - but he wasn't cute! It was saddening, really.
He let out a small snort of amusement as Levi shoved six sheets of paper to Arabella. Sarcasm was good. Bree was always sarcastic... 'I reaaaaaaally need to text her.... She probably thinks I'm dead, heh,' he thought. This wasn't the first day he had thought about texting the store runner, but his phone.... His pocket was so... far... He'd do it later.
He didn't even realize it when I did it, but his mind reverted to his past thoughts. "Cute..." the bisexual teen mumbled accidentally, his cerulean gaze flickering towards the demon subconsciously. His lip jutted out to the side slightly, his bangs dropping into his eyes as he rested his cheek on his hand once more. A hot punk, a sexy vampire and a dare-he-say beautiful little demon. If not a freaky group, they were definitely a pretty one.
