Wesker stepped through the door of the Sleepy Hollow Cafe and glanced about macabre decorations. It was evening, and he was finished with his classes for the day so the spider had decided to do a bit of wandering about the town when the establishment caught his attention. The place struck him as charming, so he'd decided to look into it's service.

He had changed into a nicer outfit then he usually wore for his classes. A black corduroy jacket draped over his shoulders, the front left open over a white button-up. The shirt was tucked in to a pair of black slacks held in place by a leather belt, and the whole thing fell down to a pair of black oxfords, and of course, his gloves. The entire outfit was pristinely smooth, and any wrinkles that marred the fabric were only through for the sake of movement.

Upon either being seated, or finding a seat himself, Wesker took a quick look over the menu as he waited for the wait staff to approach him. "Yes, I would like to have the fillet sandwich with vinaigrette, as well as whatever black tea you recommend." It was a shame that he couldn't sample the wine her, but he had little doubt they'd refuse him if he asked.

Rosetta that day had trouble of finding a right place to eat. Some places she heard were nice but too expensive, and some were cheap but not very good.

However, she was lucky enough to come across one restaurant that caught her eye: Sleepy Hollow Cafe.

It seemed to be affordable, so she decided to pay a visit. To go with the theme, she went in different clothing. The dress she wore was similar to what she usually wore, but it was lace instead of frill on the skirt and none on the sleeves. It had a faded red rose pattern on the dress and it exposed a little bit of cleavage, but not much. She did not wear the white rose like on her dress like usual (it was used for casting magic), but had it in a small black purse she only used when she was going out to places like this (and of course shopping). On the waist of her dress, she wore a red ribbon instead of black. She wore the same black leggings with but with red flats. She also wore a red rose necklace with a silver chain as well as a red rose hairpin.

I wonder if people think I'm obsessed with roses?

Rosetta did very much love roses. Her and her parents used to tend to roses in their garden when she was a young child, and it reminded them of her family and the happy times she spend with them. However, when they died, the garden wasn't taken care of much anymore and started to wither away...

She entered the cafe and was amazed at the decorations of the place. It was very calming to her in a way, and she especially loved the red roses on the window panes. As she looked around the cafe to find a table, she found someone familiar at one of them.

Wesker.

She decided to at least say hello to him, so she made her way over to him politely greeted him.

Wesker glanced up as Rosetta greeted him, and quirked an eyebrow as he scanned over her outfit. He set his smile in it's place and gave a bit of a nod before pseudo-bowing from his chair. "Good evening, Miss Souline, a pleasure as always. My sincerest compliments to your tailor, you outfit is ravishing this night, very gothic, most suitable to this setting. Would you be here on a date perhaps?"

He carefully observed her reactions to his words, his eyes trying to peer right into her very thoughts and piece them together. He hadn't much he desired to learn from her on his mind now, but that wouldn't keep him from his games.

Rosetta's cheeks soon brightly turned red. "D-d-date? No, no, I'm just here for dinner that's all! Also, you don't have to call me 'Miss Souline'; just call me Rosetta."

Why does he always ask these type of questions?

Rosetta noticed Wesker's change of outfit, and couldn't help but to blush a bit more. "You look g-good too, Wesker. I guess we both tried to dress for the theme."

Wesker Chuckled a little at her reaction. It was most often entertaining to press people's buttons like that. "If you have no prior engagement, you may join me if you wish." He stood from his chair and gestured to the seat across from him.

"Unfortunately, I can't take credit for the pairing. It was not my intention, I merely stumbled upon this cafe not ten minutes ago."

"If you have no prior engagement, you may join me if you wish."

"I guess I might as well," Rosetta looks around the cafe to see no tables available, "after all, it'd be quicker than trying to wait for a table." Rosetta sat down in the chair across from Wesker.

"Unfortunately, I can't take credit for the pairing. It was not my intention, I merely stumbled upon this cafe not ten minutes ago."

"It looks like you were lucky then. Well, I came here because I wanted to get familiar to some of the shops here on the island."

Soon a waiter noticed that Rosetta came to the table and walked over to take her order. "I will have the pepper jack sandwich, but without tomato, and a sweet tea, please." After the waiter left, she couldn't help but comment on the cafe's design. "It's very nice and calming in here, don't you think? I especially love the roses."

Wesker chuckled, luck wasn't something he often put much stock in. "I suppose you are right on about that, though I'm not usually bothered if my aesthetic doesn't match a cafe. It's not exactly a four star restaurant."

"It's very nice and calming in here, don't you think? I especially love the roses."

He gestured at the dress she was currently wearing, as well as the pendent around her neck. "You seem to have something of an affinity for roses. Is there a particular reason for that? there doesn't seem to be any specific color preferred..."

He allowed a bit of a pause in his conversation before speaking once again. "How are you feeling, there aren't any adverse effects from that incident I hope."

"Yea, I love roses. I used to always take care of them with my parents back when I was younger..." Rosetta trailed off, and started to think of her parents' death, but she knew if she did, she'd start crying again like in class. So she quickly pushed it to the back of her mind, and put on a smile.

"How are you feeling, there aren't any adverse effects from that incident I hope."

"Well, I felt exhausted when I got back into my body, but I was fine after some rest." Rosetta pushed some strands of her hair out of her face. "What about you? Did Vlad give you detention or what?"

Wesker raised an eyebrow a little bit, noticing her expression change a little bit after commenting on roses. "I'm sure they must be very fond memories. Childhood activities are quite often ingrained in our memories. Where are you parents now?"

Wesker paused as their beverages arrived, taking a second to appreciate the scent of the tea. He lifted the cup to his lips and sipped at the hot drink before lowering it to the saucer again as he continued. "Miss Shialaevar has turned out to rather lenient thus far. Though there are still a few remaining... issues that are left over from before hand. I'm taking steps to alleviate it. My studies thus far have been rather interesting."

"My parents? Well..." Rosetta took a sip of her sweet tea, and looked over to the walls with the red rose decorations. "They...aren't with us anymore...they passed when I was seven..."

That night of the murder of her parents tried to play again in her mind, but she soon pushed it back in her mind again, not wanting to get upset.

"Miss Shialaevar has turned out to rather lenient thus far. Though there are still a few remaining... issues that are left over from before hand. I'm taking steps to alleviate it. My studies thus far have been rather interesting."

"I see. Well, I have to say I'm surprised she wasn't harsher, but we did get back to normal." Rosetta took another sip of her cold beverage. "So, have you been liking Magical Studies of Necromancy? Er, doing well at least?"
