Love is in the air and the water, oh AND CANDY

Maddie was pretty certain she hadn't hit anything. She eyed Laetus over skeptically but decided to play along. She wanted the win, after all.

"I should buy us some cotton candy!" she lilted, grabbing his hand to tug him along.

It was hard to feel nervous when everything felt so fun.

Maddie looked over at the Ferris wheel. It had the kind of closed in boxes that you could make swing. Sariah had always hated heights, so anytime Maddie had wanted to ride a Ferris wheel, she had had to go alone.

"Oh! That would be awesome!"

She bought them some cotton candy, letting him pick the color, before opening the bag and pulling a fluffy piece out to pop into her mouth.

Maddie couldn't help but to giggle, which turned into a full blown laughter at Laetus' impatience.

It was too funny to see him so frustrated, when almost every other time she had spoken to him, he was excitable. She supposed it wasn't odd that he was impatient or even easily frustrated, but it was still funny.

"Classic," she grinned.

"You're all sweet and then you're all impatient so suddenly. It's just cute, Kiwi. You know, hot and cold. Yes and no?"

She giggled a little harder as she nodded. "Yeah, but it's kind of cute. You look adorable when you're all frustrated."

She gave him a slight bump with her shoulder.
