Finn huffed in disapproval, eyeing the stranger-man from his safe perch on his master. Acai had never brought home anyone for him to meet before, and Finn was rather unsure of this whole ordeal. His ears perked up at the rustling of a bag, and the spotted genet watched suspiciously as a dandelion was offered. Tucking his head back under Acai's shoulder, Finn refused the offer, not wanting to give away his heart so easily for a flower.
Acai, a little embarrassed by her Spirit's display of unaffection, took the offered flower to piece it into her hair. Thankfully, it was thick enough to hold, and the flower remained. "Is no used to ah ... People." With a small noise, Acai decided that now would probably be a good time to make that tea. "You can follow." Turning, Acai skipped back behind a row of opalescent roses that she had been experimenting with, her deft fingers pushing open a door that would have otherwise gone unnoticed. Behind the door lay a rather modest living space, about the size of a studio apartment and stuffed full of plants. Most of her furniture was gnarled logs she had someone carve into chair shapes and her kitchen table was a smooth and knotted slab of a tree. Of course, she did plenty of research before getting these items, making sure that there were no spirits attached to the trees that were used.
Her kitchen was equally as simple, with a small pit used for cooking and randomised utensils that she could not recreate with natural items. The most modern thing she owned was a rather old refrigerator, a clunky thing that looked like it had been made in 1970. It was a tacky yellow, and was plastered with faded stickers depicting popular bands and fads from it's previous owner. Acai did not mind her awkward decor too much. In it's own way, it had even grown on her a little. Filling her small copper kettle with a bit of water, Acai scooped a bit of kindling into her pit to light a fire. The flames quickly started up, and she set her kettle on the sturdy grate she had found for that purpose.
"It no lots, but work, yes?"
