"No, not really, I guess I don't hate hate Samhain," Bel admitted to the young man, "I just hate what the approaching festival does to me, my abilities and how it makes me turn into... a, a not-so-nice version of myself at times," she admitted glumly.

"Ahh, sure?" Bel said, now sort of surprised when he asked to come in, the room was embarrassingly messy, she realised as she hurriedly picked up a few things and threw them on the bed.

"That is, if you can find your way through the aftermath of tornado Bell and aren't afraid I'll yell at you again .." she said, uncertain that he wanted to actually be in the same room as a slightly unhinged goddess reincarnate.

Jeremiah hummed plainly to himself as he stepped beyond the threshold of the door into Bel's room. "It is no problem," he said cheerily as he took to looking around. "My name is Jeremiah Grunewald. I am a witch."

Spinning on his heel, he clasped his hands together and gave Bell smile. "What are you missing? Tell me what it looks like, so I know what I am looking for."

Watching him curiously as he entered her room unaffected as if she hadn't just yelled at him or made him uncomfortable, Bel wrinkled her brow, "You're a witch? Like a druid witch?" she asked with interest now. She liked witches, witches were ...useful, powerful too. The gods, her gods anyways, had an affinity and closeness to some witches, mages, and wizards.

"'I'm Bel, short for Beltane," she said to Jeremiah as Bel stepped back and let him by her into the room.

"It's an amulet, about this big, - here she made a round shape with her hands about the size of a silver dollar, a bit larger though- "it's a smooth round silver blue moonstone amulet that the goddess gave to me," Bel told him.

Jeremiah let out an audible gasp of excitement at literally everything he just heard. "Beltane!? Like the beginning of Summer? That's so beautiful!"

With a determined nod however, he pulled out a number of objects from his pockets: a pair of markers, one thick and one thin, and a roll of paper. He unrolled a section of the paper and put it on a clear spot on the floor so he could draw. While he worked, he talked.

"My Das and I lived in Germany, not Ireland. But we still celebrated the wheel of the year, among other calendars. They taught me that all was connected, and venerating one set of gods belittled the work done by all the others."

Bel gave a satisfied smile at Jeremiah's reaction to her name. "Beltane as in the goddess," she replied simply with a tiny, secret smile.

"Of course," she said, her tone now more gracious, as she came to stand beside Jeremiah watching with quiet interest as he bent down and drew something on paper on the floor, "It's a common mistake to think druids are only in Ireland," she stated calmly, "Druid live all over Europe Germany, France, Spain even parts of Russia."

"And your fathers are quite correct, we are all equal, yet often opposed on the wheel," she agreed. "I suspect there is a reason for that," she added thoughtfully as she had rare contact with the other gods, she only knew that Noel was here, the God of the Winter Solstice, Yule, he was sometimes called, or Boreas.

"Oh... wait you are a goddess?" Jeremiah said, suddenly shocked. He was a bit shaken and a whole lot of impressed, and he dipped his head low. "Much apologies, goddess. I did not know. Thank you for allowing me to help you find your lost necklace."

Standing up now that he was done with his drawing, Jeremiah held out his hand and spoke in Old Norse. His voice reverbated throughout the room as his eyes filmed over milky white.

A faint white light sprung from his chest, right over his heart, and flew out the door. Leading, like a line on a map to a destination. "Oh! There it is. We can find it easily now, I think."

Bel laughed softly at Jeremiah's surprise and swift acknowledgment of who she was. She had to admit it felt nice to have somebody who knew who she was. She was not really used to the anonymity of the island where everyone was something.

"Thank you, Jeremiah. For helping me. I regret how I acted earlier, I often forget myself," she admitted honestly as she watched him work.

"Whoa..." Bel murmured, visibly impressed now when she saw the lightning spring forth, glancing in surprise at the young mage. Jeremiah had some powerful magic. Something Bel should have been aware of, but hadn't been.

"That... your magic, that's..." she was going to say godlike, but refrained from it, because she was unsure now, she couldn't see beyond his earthly veil, and had no idea if it was or not. Damn Samhain, she cursed mentally, frustrated once again by her lack of abilities.

"Alright then... lead the way, I will follow you," Bel told Jeremiah with a tiny grin, hiding her own excitement at the possibility of finding her amulet, trying to be patient and not act like the spoilt and self-centered goddess she could be.

Despite his chipper demeanor, Jeremiah was suddenly a bit winded. His spell had taken a good bit out of him, but less so given that he was able to incorporate symbolism of Beltane into it. The runes on the paper burned up as the light stabilized, vanished completely.

"You are fine. We all lose our tempers from time to time. But as long as we are quick to apologize and to forgive, nothing is harmed." Jeremiah smiled wide at Bel again and nodded the affirmative to lead the way.

He walked for some time, following this string of light floating in the air like gossamer. He hummed a tune as he walked, avoiding running into other students and the like deftly.

He bumped into a door that the light passed through, pushed through it and headed upstairs. "This amulet of yours is tricksy..."

"It is tricksy, very..." Bel agreed walking beside, following at times, Jeremiah as they went in search of her amulet.

"Now you know kind of why I get so frustrated. It quite literally has a life of its own. If it doesn't think I am using it for good, gone, if it is angry with me, gone, if it doesn't like where I placed it, gone...it's a very temperamental thing," Bel told Jeremiah, actually letting the witch on the amulets secret. "Just like me actually," she added with a wide grin, joking - sort of.

"Well, I am sure it has good reason. Magic is fickle, but benevolent in the hands of the kind. And despite your rough edges, you seem kind. You have a kind laugh."

Jeremiah spoke, but seemed wholly distracted as he continued following his trail of light. Eventually he came upon a door and stopped to blink. A locker room. He paused, canting his head slightly like a dog before pushing onward. Inside the locker room, people were getting changed and going to and from the showers, but Jeremiah ignored them as he was a man on a mission.

He stopped at the entrance to one of the showers and paused, suddenly wondering if Bel had accompanied him or not.
