Bel just raised an eyebrow when Jeremiah said she seemed kind, rather amused by that. Kind was not a term she often heard used to describe her. She knew other incarnations had been known for their kindness, but she was afraid that she had a ways to go, or at least she felt like she did.

Following Jeremiah, Bel frowned in confusion as they entered the gym, sports area, the boys' locker room area. "Jeremiah..." she said, voice trailing off as she watched him move forward like a bloodhound on the scent of a rabbit seemingly unperturbed by anything.

Stopping outside the boys' locker room door for a second when Jeremiah pushed his way through the door, Bel was not sure if she should enter or not. Seeing no other choice, she took a deep breath, put on her bitchiest "Don't tell me what to do" persona and entered the locker room with a purposeful gait, staring ahead, not wanting to see anything .. not really...

And as she looked for Jeremiah, moving quickly through the shower area, sidestepping benches, averting her gaze, head held high while purposefully glaring at whoever got in her way, Bel held up her hand at a boy who protested about her being there, silencing him. "Oh, get a grip on yourselves, there's nothing I want to see here," she said rolling her eyes.

Hearing a wolf whistle and a catcall then, Bel grit her teeth, and decided to just ignore the boys, muttering, "immature" under her breath as she strode forward, pretending she didn't hear anything.

"Did you find it?" Bel calmly asked Jeremiah when she finally found him, calmer than she actually felt, since standing in a room of young men in various states of undress was not something she had ever done, or hoped to do again.

Jeremiah walked into a running shower fully clothes, stepping around the boys who glanced at him in confusion. "Excuse me. Pardon. Oh I'm sorry," were the only indication he gave that he even noticed their presences.

Emerging a minute later completely drenched but grinning ear to ear, Jeremiah held up the pendant dangling from his hand. He seemed oblivious to the fact that he and Bel were standing in the middle of a men's locker room, surrounded by male students in various states of undress. "I found the tricksy thing! It was hanging on a shower head."

Stunned when Jeremiah suddenly stepped away from her into a shower full of men, Bel didn't quite know what to do, staring at him in awe, she started to notice the people around her, and that they were naked. Averting her gaze, Bel went pale, and then pink with embarrassment, slightly, no, very uncomfortable.

Bel knew what naked men looked like, she had seen a few actually, but not up close like now. She had only seen men, boys, really, naked when they were together in the saunas, hot pools or at the swimming holes, and then, they, her druid keepers had kept the young goddess pretty much separated from the young men.

When Jeremiah came back dripping wet, looking quite pleased and holding her amulet, Bel immediately forgot her discomfort, feeling immediate relief mixed with a sense of gratitude "Thank the gods, you found it!" she exclaimed happily as she gazed at the moonstone amulet in his hands.

"May I have it back?" she asked Jeremiah excitedly, not wanting to snatch it out of his hands, resisting that temptation to do so, reminding herself not to be so rude or impulsive.

"Yes of course!" Jeremiah exclaimed, crossing the room to Bel and depositing the amulet into her hands. He smiled, his eyes creasing with the size of his grin. "I am glad I was able to help you."

He finally looked around, seeming to notice where they were for the first time. His face turned bright red and he scampered out, pulling Bel along by the hand. Once they were outside, he started apologizing profusely.

"I am so sorry I did not think properly and I did not mean to put you in an uncomfortable situation."

Just as Bel was about to thank Jeremiah for finding the amulet again, she found herself being whisked away out into the hall by Jeremiah, away from all the naked and semi-undressed bodies.

Once the out in the hall, Bel looked at Jeremiah in shock. He was so unexpected. She had known him for probably less than two hours, maybe an hour thirty and he had been shy, almost on the verge of tears, firm with her, putting her in her place, focussed beyond all reason on finding her amulet, and now impetuous as he had grabbed her hand and dragged her out into the hall, apologizing to her.

"It's, uh, okay..." Bel said uneasily as she realised that the men's locker room had unnerved her more than she'd like to admit.

"I am just very grateful you managed to find it," she admitted placing around her neck safely thinking that Jeremiah was a doll to have helped her after the temper tantrum she had had earlier.

Jeremiah felt his cheeks warm with embarrassment as Bel thanked him. He fidgeted with his fingers and smiled just a bit. "You are very welcome. I am humbled to be of help a goddess. You look very pretty in your necklace as well." He said with a determined nod.

He paused, realizing that he was soaked to the bone. Or at least through his clothes. "Oh dear..."

Bel just smiled and then shook her head at Jeremiah when he thanked her and then complimented her. He was incredibly sweet, she had to admit as she unconsciously touched the amulet hanging from around her neck.

"Once again, thank you for all your help, if you should ever need anything," Bel said, wondering now what she could offer in return, what he might require from her, he certainly was worthy and wondered if there was something she could do for him.

As she thought this, Bel's gaze roamed over him and took in Jeremiah's wet clothes, "Jeremiah... I really think you should get changed, you are soaking wet," Bel stated, frowning slightly, concerned, as she looked to the floor and saw some water at his feet.

Jeremiah smiled broadly and tried not to laugh. "You're right." He went for his pocket and found that his pen and his note cards were soaked. Jeremiah's smile faltered only a little and he shrugged. "I suppose I need to go back to my dorm room to change. Oh well, at least I do not need a bath now," he said with a little chuckle.

"Thank you or your kind offer as well. I will keep it in mind, Beltane."

Bel grinned at his silly comment, trying not to laugh, when Jeremiah mentioned not needing a bath anymore while adding that he needed to get back to his dorms to change.

"Whatever you need," she said when he said he'd keep it in mind, raising an eyebrow when he called her, Beltane. Very few people actually called her that, and she wasn't sure how to respond. It was oddly satisfying that somebody recognised her, but it also flustered her for some reason.

"See you around, Jeremiah. I should probably go and clean up my mess..." she added casually, spotting one of her dorm mates and remembering she had to get back and tidy up before Agnes got back from class and noticed the colossal mess she had made.
