Aletia smiled as the air whipped at her face. It was only a little while ago had she actually reached the school thanks to a guy in the forest. She was rather happy that she finally arrived at the school, with her bag still slung around her shoulder crossing its way across her chest tto the other side. Pulling out a book and pen and taking a seat, the 12-year-old began sketching the area-not that she was any good at it. Oh no, she was much better at describing the surrounding area rather than drawing it. But she liked to draw all the same. Sticking her tongue out childishly, Aletia sub-conciously said:

"Beautiful view up here..."

After a long day of forgotten homework, knock downs, and feeling a bit down, Enelya made her way onto the roof.

"Archie I just don't know what to do anymore. That girl was so persistant, like I was some rotten alien or something. Like, I was discusting or something." Enelya plopped down, defeated, and sad. She hadn't noticed the girl sitting down the way.

"Listen to me Enelya," Archie was trying to be optimistic, "maybe you just caught her on an 'off' day. If you see her again, maybe she'll be more inclined to have a conversation with you."

Enelya didn't hear a word he said, she just started crying, a bird flew, and started chirping in her ear. Enelya looked up, and saw the girl, and stopped crying.

"Oh, erm, hello, I'm sorry, I didn't see you there." Was all she managed to blurt out.

Enelya hated to be emotional in front of strangers, or anyone really. She tried wipping away her tears with her skirt and took a deep breath.

Aletia gasped at the sudden sound of another person, nearly dropping her beloved pen, but stopping herself just in time. She turned around to the other girl and was surprised by how she looked, what with her purple eyes and light blue hair. But in truth, it looked quite nice. However, the thing that really got her attention was her pet lizard in the girl's pocket. Shrugging, Aletia looked back at the saying,

"Well, I guess not many people go on rooftops, so it's understandable."

After catching her breath, after so much blubbering, Enelya managed to recompose herself.

"Err, I'm Enelya, this is Archimedes, and, you are?"

As the sun set, Enelya sighed, it was so beautiful up here. Her hair flowed in the breeze, and her eyes sparkled. She missed home. Even if she couldn't remember it.

Aletia smiled brightly at Enelya and Archimedes, allowing her journal to rest on her knees, her hands still clasping her pen. The wind began to blow gently against her skin as she prepared to continue the conversation.

"Hi Enyela, Archimedes. I'm Aletia." Turning her head once more to the scenery in front of her, Aletia continued, "Why're you up here?"

"Why're you up here?"

Enelya, laughed at herself, seeing she didn't really have a purpose, she just needed to go somewhere.

"I wanted to be alone, but seeing I always seem to have a lizard in my pocket, it's never really possible. In all honesty, I'm not sure why I'm up here, what about yourself?" Noticing her notebook, she asked "Were you up here drawing or something?"

Aletia smiled as another gust of wind blew upon her face. "Well, I noticed this place, and felt like drawing something, even if I'm rubbish at it." Aletia flipped over the page of her journal, and turned to Enelya, looking at her her with complete curiosity.

"You sure you're allowed pets here?"

"Well, I noticed this place, and felt like drawing something, even if I'm rubbish at it."

Enelya gave her a smile, yet another, who is interested in art. But, she didn't take pride in her work, which disappointed her.

"Rubbish? I think not! That's not the kind of attitude for an artist now is it? Lemme take a look at this so-called-rubbish." Enelya gave her a wink and leaned over.

"You sure you're allowed pets here?"

Enelya sat back down and gave her a twisted look. Pets?! Ha! In all the years of her and Archie's friendship have they ever considered themself "Pet, and Owner."

"Pet? I would hardly call him my pet, but my friend." Enelya raised her eyebrow, "Besides, it's never stopped me before."

Aletia smiled smiled at the fact about the reply she got off of Enelya. It was something you wouldn't normally get outside of school-an ordinary school. But this academy was different. That was what she loved about the place, even if she hadn't been there for long yet.

Flipping several pages back to allow the 15-year-old to look at her work, Aletia felt that now was time to give her an answer.

"Well, compared to my writing, I'm not so good at art. After all, my gift takes form in writing." Turning her head towards Archimedes, she also added, "So, seeing by your reply, I would guess that you can talk to Archimedes?" Aletia gave the lizard a little wave and smile.

"Well, compared to my writing, I'm not so good at art. After all, my gift takes form in writing."

Enelya gave her a crooked smile. She loved hearing about other people's powers, they interested her, since they were all so different, and unique..

"Hmm... Tell me about this power of yours. Form in writing? That's quite interesting."

Enelya looked over at the sunset and sighed. She party missed her village, but then again, never, did she see such beautiful sunsets high, in the trees, or for this matter, on the roof. You couldn't very well sit on thatched rooves, now could you? It was all so new to Enelya, but she wasn't going to be the one to complain.

"So, seeing by your reply, I would guess that you can talk to Archimedes?"

Enelya laughed. "I can do more than just talk to Archimedes, I can talk to both animals, and plants..and, I can also.." She moved her arm upwards, and made a nearby tree's limb, come out over the roof. "Make them grow."
She was quite proud of her display, and hoped that maybe Aletia would be too. Archie sure was everytime she did some curious thing.
