Aletia looked in astonishment. She was able to make an object which already existed grow. Grow! Aletia just sat there in wonder for a few minutes until she realised that she was meant to talk back.

"Uh... Well, my gift is something which just randomly appeared out a nowhere, but..." Aletia looked at Archimedes, then back at Enelya. "If I write it down with enough detail and the actual purpose of the object..." Flipping to the front page (which was blank) Aletia suddenly began writing incredibly fast a lond detailed description of her object. Curiosity over took her as she began writing and soon she was finished.

"It doesn't always work, since my mum was rather reluctant on letting me use it, so I don't have much practise..." Aletia said, trying to make sure that Enelya's hopes weren't to high. Placing a palm into the center of the paragraph of words, Aletia focused, closing her eyes so that they weren't hurt by the sudden light which came. The words suddenly went off of the page, merging together to create an odd 3d shape. Soon within Aletia's hand was something like a deformed egg with a little gap for someone's mouth and little handles at the end to hold it with.

"This... I tried to make so that I can also talk to Archimedes and understand what he's saying, but my creations only work for 10 minutes," looking back at her creation, Aletia added, "It... may not even work!" She laughed at that, then turned to Enelya and Archimedes. Speaking through the thing, a little pale blue glow appearing around it when she spoke through it, said,

"Does it work?"

Enelya's eyes widened. This power was interesting, she hadn't met anyone with a power even kinda of like this before! Enelya giggled.

"Does it work?"

Archimedes looked curiously at this girl. Never, had he met someone who acutally wanted to talk to him before. He stuck his tongue out and gave a squeak. He understood her! He didn't know what to say, the only person he'd ever talked to was Enelya and the other lizards, he was going wild! Enelya bursted out laughing, Archie had never gotten this excited in a long time. Enelya clutched her stomache she was laughing so hard. Enelya nudged him, only 10 minutes remember?

Desparate for something to say, he blurted "HELLO!!!"

Aletia smiled in joy. Oh, yes! She was getting better. She thought about what to say, but remembered her time limit, so just tried to do a normal conversation.

"Hello Archimedes. Uh... hey... Do you understand the human language, or can just understand names of people?" She was just curious, and giggled a little at how hyper the lizard was getting.

Archie whirrled around. This was so cool! He had to remember to ask Enelya to hang out with this one more often! She liked talking to him AND wasn't afraid of him!

"Hello Aletia! Err...Uhh... I understand names very well, and err, not the language... but the faces you make when you say certain things. Take it like gut stuff!"

Aletia smiled. "So, have you talked to any other people other than Enelya and myself? Surely there must be another person who can speak to animals. Oh, yeah, what's it like to be a lizard? And Enelya, can you understand me?" Aletia hadn't realised how many questions she had asked in one single gasp of breath.

Archie grinned, "Well, if there are, we havent met them yet, but then again, we've only been here for a couple days, and just recently got a room. And err, well being a lizard is kinda hard. Most people, well, girls mostly scream at you, and men usually either throw things, or shoot at you. But I like it alright, Enelya keeps me safe."

Enelya nodded her head at the question directed towards her. "Yep, every word. I can understand Lizard-Speak naturally already, so why wouldn't I understand you too?" she winked.

Aletia grinned, eyes shutting cheerfully. "Well, I only got here an hour ago, really. I would of been here earlier but... I kinda got... lost." Aletia said, feeling as if she could have one of those cartoon sweatdrops come out of nowhere.

"A room? Oops, haven't done that yet. A well, I'll do it later. Hey, what kinda people have you met?"

"Well, I only got here an hour ago, really. I would of been here earlier but... I kinda got... lost."

Enelya was about to respond, but Archie interupted her.

"We WOULD have gotten lost if it weren't for my directional skills!" he said, beaming.

"YOUR directional skills?! We asked like 10 Pine Trees before you pointed out the building 15 feet in front of us!" Enelya grunted. Sometimes Archie was a bit too egotistical, but she loved him anyways.

"Anyways, we've met a few people, one girl, my roommate, she can duplicate herself, and this one boy, who I met in the library, he has something to do with blood curses, its very interesting, I liked talking to him. Then, there was a girl and a boy I met out on the lake, they were a wierd pair. Not together I mean, but, they were very distant people, and difficult to talk to." Enelya looked away, the two on the lake bothered her. Never before had someone diliberatly not wanted to talk to her. Plus, the girl had hurt Archie's feelings.

"What about you? Who have you met?" Enelya asked.

Aletia chuckled at the two arguing with one another. Those two seemed to have been friends since, like, forever! Aletia turned towards Enelya, and smoothingly replied,

"Well, you and Archim-, Archimedes are actually the second and thrird people I've met and spoken to. When I was a lost, a guy helped me get out," Aletia sighed. "But he didn't tell me his name. And even when he knew my name, he kept calling me twirp," Aletia made a little funny face at her little nickname the 18-year-old had given her. "And he kept calling the generation of 12-year-olds tweens," Aletia shrugged at this. Suddenly she remembered his injuries, and her mind began to wander slightly, before realising that she was meant to be talking Enelya and Archi- Archimedes.

"Hey," she said, looking at her first lizard friend. "Do you have a nickname, or something shorter for me to say?" Aletia felt another one of those cartoon sweatdrops coming. She really hoped she wasn't offending the lizard. "It's just that, I have a habit on stumbling on words from time to time if they're long..."

Enelya laughed, and replied, "I call him Archie. And, I hope you meet more people.. Even though some aren't very social.."
