Aimouryllice kept pace with Aaron as he walked, her large eyes staring straight ahead and refusing to stray to the sights around them in any sort of curiosity that she probably didn't have. Already, she grew weary of having to lower her voice for these weak creatures; why should she have to? She should be able to talk loud and proud just like she used to, but no! Maybe talking normally would strengthen their weak ears. She begrudgingly reminded herself of her tribe; would she force
them to go through uncomfortable experiences like that? Ughh.
Hold on a moment. . .What kind of ocean was this? All the food was right there! Okay, maybe this was someone else's food and they were going to go out and hunt their own in just a moment. Just showing off other people's skills and how many fish there are to be found, yes, she got it now.
She found her hands suddenly occupied by a strange flat stone. What in the world was this? Was this her hunting weapon? Should she throw it? Perhaps it was a toy that they used in play--but she's not a child! The audacity of this human. She put the disk down in favor of grabbing the first fishy food with her clawed hands and bringing it straight to her mouth like some sort of savage or something (but, of course, this was the most sophisticated way of eating). When he attempted to lead her elsewhere, she looked back to the food, grabbed a few more fistfuls, whatever her hands could carry, and followed after him.
As he spoke, she shredded into the fish with her shark-like teeth, ripping and gnashing away (with her mouth closed, of course).
"...It is O-K..." she began after he explained the 'aura' thing.
"...You. . .much--ugly." She even used her dirty hands to emphasize just how ugly he was. As for the questions. . .
"...Here. . .Why...? My. . .not-humans. Pee-ple. Who..."
This 'English' was so frustrating. She began talking in her own language, her thoughts flowing much more quickly and precisely compared to her struggle with human communication. Obviously, it was unlike that which he'd ever heard, being an entirely different species that had never come into contact with humans, after all. Not uncommon in a school filled with those.
When she was done jabbering on in her 'mother tongue', she stared at 'Air-in'.
