A small little dragon was curled in a warm basket, staring at the ground as it moved beneath her. The person carrying her spoke gently, "They're like you, little dragon — you'll be safe here." Without another word from the messenger, who had been sent to deliver the little dragon, the basket is left on the doorstep of the very large manor.
Once the basket is sat down and the messenger is gone, the little dragon tumbles over the side of the basket with a squeal — it had been attempting to roar. Crimson red scales shone in the soft morning light, and the tiny dragon is soon bouncing around on the doorstep, bumping into the door repeatedly as she amuses herself trying to catch the sun's rays.
Eventually she tumbles head over heels with a thump, her basket is sent off the doorstep and onto one of the stairs. She clambers down with some difficulty and attacks her basket with another squeal, rolling onto her back with the blanket in her claws.
She squirmed about in the basket, tossing the blanket in the air and catching it — multiple times, only to fail on her last try and the blanket lands outside of the basket. Now, without a blanket to amuse her, the little dragon began to cry; very loudly. She was easily amused, and easily upset, it would seem.
