"Empaths.." He said, testing the word out for himself. "Freshman in High school and I'm still learning new words it seems.." He said to himself before continuing to wrap his head around the fact that maybe, he wasn't so alone. At the mention of DSU Leucos turned his head in a quizzical manner. "A student union for demons? That's a first. Well, this entire place is practically one massive first." He thought to himself as he nodded at the explanation Chloe provided.

"It makes sense to have a club like that. I can imagine not everyone would be accepting of Demons.." Leucos said softly, while remembering what had happened the first time he had mentioned to another person he knew what they were feeling. He sighed as the uncomfortable memory came to the surface, every detail as clear as the day it had happened. He managed to push the memory down and distract himself from the uncomfortable subject.

"So, if the Infirmary is this way." He said as he pointed along the path they were traveling. "Then were exactly are the dorm rooms..I don't want to black out today.." He said shyly.

"Oh, uh, the high school dorms are back that way." Chloe stopped and pointed. "Walk down to the pool then take a left. It'll be past the statue and sort of on the right. But, ah, after you get your problem straightened out." She assumed the blacking out had to do with Leocos's condition.

They went back to walking towards the infirmary. Chloe stopped herself from going on a rant about how important her club's mission was when she realized something: "Wait... if you haven't been to your dorm yet, where's all your... clothes, and stuff that you brought to move in?" Shit, was that what he had lost? His entire suitcase?

At least he would have a suitcase to go find, though. It was more than Chloe had coming here, well off as she was today.

Leucos listened intently to the directions, and tried his best to remember everything. They walked in comfortable silence for a ways before Chloe spoke again. At the mention of his suitcase, all of the blood drained from Leucos' face and his breath caught in his throat. He stopped walking and frantically turned to look down the hallway they had just come from.

"No no no no no! It must have dropped when I was in the courtyard and...The picture!" He gasped again and covered his mouth with his hand. Leucos shook ever so slightly, torn between getting the bracelet, and rushing back down the hallway into the court yard. Powers and side effects be damned.

"I can't lose it. It's the only thing I have of him!" Leucos was near the point of tears, although he did a wonderful job of keeping his emotions suppressed. "I-.." He was frozen. Going back meant that he would have to brave another blackout or intense amounts of pain. Going forward meant that there was a chance someone could steal the only possession of his that mattered.

Aw, crap, now she was freaking him out again.

"It should be fine," Chloe tried to reassure him. "Chances are, someone's going to turn it in to lost and found, and then it'll be safe there until you go pick it up."

She tried to usher him on towards the infirmary. She didn't want him having another attack, or whatever it was that made him run and hide in the library. "Tell you what, if you described it to me I could go run off and find it for you after I get you to the infirmary." If she was going to take time out from this project to help someone, she at least wanted to do it right. And besides, the things she was planning to do - they were scary, dangerous. She was glad to have something else to be worried about for now.

Luke calmed down slightly at her words. "Lost in found, yeah..everything should still be in there.." He said to himself. He allowed Chloe to push him towards the infirmary as she asked him what his bag looked like.

"It's solid black and has a Norwegian flag printed on the right side." He said quietly. "M-my name should be on one of the zipper tags.." He said as he faltered slightly. He stopped and turned to look at Chloe. "Thank you for helping me..I don't know why you're being so nice to me when..you barely even know me. But..thank you." He said. Luke bowed his head slightly as a sign of thanks before he turned back around and stared down the hallway.

"This is easy..just put on foot in front of the other..."
