She's making a list, she checkin' it twice... and nothing seems good enough for Jia An. Seriously, what in the heckin heck would that teacher even want in the first place? Science stuff? Well, probably. Moreover, there were other people whom Raella would like to buy presents for this Christmas even though she hasn't known them for that long. There was Liliana who was one of the first people she encountered in Starlight Academy, Rada who she had a blast dueling with and Aedan who just seemed like a cool guy in general. However, it wasn't as though Raella was that poor or anything so she absolutely refused to take advantage of Zoraida's kindness hence she'd just request for the other to pay for the cheapest gift or something. Besides, just getting the chance to go shopping with the CEO of an international company was already more than enough. By the end of it, Raella would probably feel obliged to get her a gift too. With a slightly frustrated sigh, she crumpled up the list and chucked it into the paper bin, deciding that she should just explore the malls for some inspiration instead of planning what to buy beforehand.

Checking her messages for the umpteenth time, she then headed out to their designated meeting place - City Hall. After all, it was very central and close to many malls which Raella had yet to visit. Standing by one of the broader pillars, Raella made sure she was earlier than expected and proceeded to wait. It was as her mother always said: better ten minutes early than one second late. Especially so since she was meeting the CEO of an international company.

"Raella?" Zora said with a friendly smile as she approached the meeting place, having spotted a young girl there waiting as she parked her car nearby, a very fancy and expensive sports car. It was, perhaps, her one huge indulgence in life. She loved speed, cars and just flying down country roads with the music blaring.

The young woman had contacted Zoraida a few days ago asking for her assistance to buy her teacher and friends Christmas gifts. And after a short back and forth, Zora had eventually told her she'd be delighted and suggested meeting today.

In fact, this whole shopping idea, of giving back, was actually helping Zora in unexpected ways, and she began to think that maybe, she may make it a yearly thing.

"I'm Zoraida del Bosque, we talked earlier," she said, introducing herself to the younger woman, smiling at how pretty she was. "You can call me, Zora, by the way, everyone does," she added warmly.

Upon hearing her name, Raella swiftly turned around to face the caller only to subconsciously dip her head slightly at the sight of Zora. "Yep, that's me! A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Zora." Lifting her head to meet the other woman's gaze, it took all her willpower to not gape in shock. An aura of authority and ascendancy circulated Zora, as expected of a person with such a high position. Flashing Zora a quick grin in order to regain her composure, Raella quickly rummaged her mind for what to say.

"So, is there anywhere you'd recommend going shopping? I'm a little new to the city and may not know as much." Her voice was a little timid and hesitant and her sentence was spoken with a light chuckle. Internally, Raella let out a heavy sigh for stumbling over the simplest of words in the presence of Zora. She couldn't help but feel faintly inferior and unnerved despite the other's friendly gestures. Well, it was no problem; Raella would probably find her footing as the day proceeded.

"Well, it all really depends on what you are looking for," Zora surmised as she studied the dark-haired woman in front of her, finding her somewhat shy uncertainty endearing.

"The mall behind us," she pointed to a large building about a half a block away. "Has a great selection of clothing, accessories, and shoe stores. There is also a shop where you can buy perfume, cosmetics, and another that sells computer stuff, games, stuff like that..." she stated, trying to think what else was in the mall.

"However, if you want, like gourmet or handcrafted items," Zora said as she whirled around, "Over there is the high street or the island's main shopping district. There, you can get handmade sweets and preserves, chocolates, soaps as well as candles, jewelry, home goods... " she told Raella enthusiastically..

"So, yeah, basically, it depends on who are you buying for and what you wanted to buy?"

Upon listening to what Zora had to say, Raella's mind wandered momentarily to the people whom she wanted to buy gifts for. Just her luck, she would probably end up having to visit both malls in order to get what she wanted. Well, it seems that today would be a long day.

"I think we might end up going to both malls. Perhaps we should start with the one nearest to us!" Raella replied, letting out a light chuckle as she walked a few paces toward the mall behind them. However, realizing she hadn't asked much for the other's opinion, she immediately halted all movement and spun round to face Zora once more.

"I mean if it's alright with you that is!" she quickly added sheepishly. Raella's voice was a little too squeaky for her liking, almost giving the impression of a frightened prey.

Zora was not at all surprised to hear that Raella figured she'd have to visit both shopping areas. And when she started off in the direction toward the mall, suggesting they visit the closest first, Zora agreed. It seemed logical to her and so she just quietly started following behind the girl when she took off in that direction.

"Of course, it's okay..." Zora replied graciously, "It's your shopping trip. We will start wherever you think is best." she said flashing Raella a grin. "And if you need to go all over the island to find that perfect gift, then that's what we will do." Zora told her.

With a quick, reflective bow, Raella said her thanks to Zora. Keeping the silence for a few paces, Raella tried to think of at least some idea of what gift to get. Buying presents for her friends and teacher were not much of a problem; she somewhat knew their character and could guess what would please them. The real puzzle was the guy whom she was paired with for secret santa, Jude. Though she had seen glimpses of him in some classes, she's never interacted with him hence all she could associate him with were guns. It wasn't long before a sinister idea popped in her head. Since he indicated he wanted unique stuff, getting him that item would definitely fit the bill.

"Well, I'm not sure if I've already informed you but I've decided to go with the flow when shopping for my friends but there's this one specific item which I'm not sure where to find..." Turning to face Zora, she released the tension in her shoulders and curved her lips to form a playful smirk. With all nervousness gone, Raella slipped back to her usual mischevious composure.

"Any idea where I could get a gun which shoots out rainbow tampons."

Zora just looked at the young woman, her lips threatening to break out in a laugh when Raella asked about the tampon gun. She was not sure if she was serious or not, and if she was, Zora didn't want to laugh in her face.

"Well," she started, "I can't say that there is any place that actually sells that," she started, "However, there are some shops that customize things? Would that interest you?" Zora asked curiously.

"That would work perfectly." Just the thought of being able to get her hands on such a ridiculous gift made her heart race with excitement. Moreover, Zora seemed extremely cooperative despite the odd request.

Stepping into the mall, Raella found herself astounded at the sheer gargantuan size of it. Shops adorned each corridor, their vibrant light and faint music birthed a lively atmosphere which Raella had never experienced before. Having lived in isolation for the most part, she was unsure of how to react and stood still for a few moments to take in the scene before her letting out a slow, gleeful gasp. Tail swishing left to right rapidly like an excited puppy, Raella whipped round to face Zora, her tone gleaming with eagerness.

"So where should we start?"

Zora came to stand a few feet behind Raella, noting how excited she seemed to be by all the sights and sounds, and even Christmas smells. The pervading smell of holiday spices, vanilla, peppermint as well as scents like pine and cedar filled the air around them.

"Well, eventually we will need a gun of some sort, even a toy one is fine," she mused, "but those are on the other side of the mall," she remarked thoughtfully.

"Did you want to look at gift ideas for your girl friends? she suggested since they had a pyjama, lingerie shop, makeup, perfume, shoes, clothes and other similar shops in front of them down the mall.
