A mischevious thought of buying her teacher lingerie for Christmas crossed her mind however, Raella quickly brushed it off. There was a limit to how far pranks can go and having money wasted on something as useless as this just won't cut it. Humming lightly, Raella continued to contemplate what to buy. Clothing seemed extremely troublesome and risky since she didn't think to ask for their sizes beforehand hence she decided that perhaps buying perfume would be the safest decision.

"Perhaps we should check out the perfume store first." Raella replied, already walking toward the direction of the store. However, upon further thought, she quickly added: "Though, if it's too expensive I'd like to pay for it myself."

Once again, Raella strengthened her resolve to not take advantage of Zora's kindness. Any unnecessary money planned on spending on her would have more use to be given to charity.

The second she stepped into the store, all sorts of scents hit her like a literal punch in the face. Though they were pleasant individually, when put together, their combined strength was almost strong enough to suffocate a demon. Unfortunately for her, she was a demon. That being said, Raella wasn't any less fascinated by the numerous rows stocked with vibrantly colored liquids.

Wet dirt? In her completely intelligent opinion, that sounded absolutely rancid. But who was she to judge; not too long ago she asked a science teacher for ammonia because she liked the smell. Speaking of which... Whipping her head round in a flash, she quickly faced Zora, her expression dead serious and her tone even more so.

"Ammonia."

Breaking out into a laugh, she quickly dismissed her second odd request of the day. It was very unlikely a perfume store would have scents so widely disliked anyway; it'll never sell. "Just kidding. Is there any perfume which smells like heaven?" Well, it seemed like the next request was even more bizarre but if the store had room for wet dirt perfume, they just might have what she wanted.

Bleach huh, perhaps Raella would indulge in that scent if she ever feels particularly suicidal. The more she interacted with Zora, the more she realized that even Zora was a normal person instead of some deity. With that thought in mind, Raella was getting increasingly at ease and managed to relax but not to the point where she was disrespectful.

Thanking Zora, she gratefully accepted the bottle with both her hands and brought it closer to her. Just a slight sniff was all it took for the scent of the ocean to overwhelm her, washing out all other perfumes like a tidal wave. The lingering stench of shellfish at low tide, coupled with the salty essence of the sea brought forth a sense of home. It was almost as though she could hear the tide crashing against the rocky terrain and feel the gentle ocean breeze brushing past her cheeks. For a few moments, Raella was stunned speechless, fully immersing herself in her memories by the sea. When she spoke, her tone was distant, as if her conscious were in an entirely different dimension.

"It smells like the ocean... like home."

With a subtle smile forming on her face, she rested her gaze on Zora and snapped out of her daze. "I think I'll get three of this, how much would it be?" as Raella's mind wandered briefly to her new dorm mates, she quickly added in "Also, do you have a store to recommend for stuffed toys?"

Although 64 bucks was quite a lot of money for a student, Raella reminded herself that this was perfume. One bottle could be up to hundreds of dollars. Besides, the special offer immediately sealed the deal. Without much hesitation, Raella nodded violently and made a dash to the cashier to pay the money. Not a moment after, Raella practically skipped to Zora, with a small shopping bag in her hand.

"Oh yeah, visiting the stuffed toys store seems like good but..." Pausing for a moment, her head tilted down as her mind flashed to her new dorm mates. Now what in the good name of stars was she supposed to get someone whom she didn't really know? Even more so since Raella was a hundred percent certain she had made a terrible first impression on Aura. "Honestly, I have no idea if a stuffed toy is a good present for this friend." Locking her gaze back on Zora, Raella decided there was no harm in asking for advice. "What would you get a rather introverted person who may or may not dislike you at the moment?"

Upon hearing Zora's response, Raella was instantly grateful that she consulted her before buying the gift she had in mind. Scratching the back of her head, she recalled her rash greeting back at the dorms. "So..." she began, still trying to find the right words to string together "I have three dorm mates, two of which I already kind of know but one whom I probably made a bad first impression on." Letting out a sheepish laugh, she continued. "Honestly I have no idea what to get her but I plan on getting my two dorm mates presents and it'd just feel mean too leave her out, you get what I mean?"

After explaining her predicament, Raella was even more thankful for Zora's presence. Turns out shopping with others would be much better than going Christmas shopping alone as she had originally planned.
