What a lovely day. What an unexpected day. Axel would have never thought that her and her new husband, and their pet wolf, would so soon be adding two more additions to their family. Two 'children'. A five year old boy and a 16 year old girl. Axel didn't even see herself as old enough to have either of them, but after Atom's begging and talking, she got talked into adopting a girl that was only 8 years younger than her, and another that had already matured enough to make his own decisions.

Stopping first by the dorm of the 16 year old, she looked cautiously to her right, where her husband was standing rather upbeat, as it seemed that he had been a lot more excited about the 16 year old. She herself saw that she would most likely see them both as her own soon, but she doubted that it would work the other way. TO her left was their pet wolf, quietly sitting beside her as they stood in front of their potential daughter's door. "Okay." She was nervous and excited at the same time, but there was no turning back now.

Izzy was getting ready for the day, she was usually up as soon as the sun rose but she had been tired after having her bake sale. Well it was more like a snack give away, but it totally counted as a bake sale because she said it was. She was just getting ready to grab her beach stuff when she heard a knock at the door. She quickly skipped over to the door and opened it to see, a man, a woman, and a dog..of some sort.

"Hello, Come in." She said opening the door to the strangers and just letting them in her room. While she seemed to be incredibly trusting, she wasn't. She just didn't think it was polite to let people wait in the hallway. She cleared off her mythology books so they could sit in the empty chairs situated around her room.

Atom, wearing a black hoodie with a red insignia on it that was Roman, baggy blue jeans, and shoes that were nice and shiny as if he had just bought them, stood to the right of his wife. She was looking especially beautiful today to him. Even though they were casually going to finally adopt children, or in this case a kid and a teen, he could see how she glowed with enthusiasm and radiated anxiety. She was nervous obviously but even still she looked as if she was pitching a new idea to a company that she worked for. She dressed casually but still with class.

Shadow, their pet wolf, gleamed in the hallways lights oddly. His black fur shined amazingly making him look as slick as ever. He was well behaved and seemingly excited to. Atom was indeed excited for the sixteen year old since he had heard much about her. She was smart, pretty, and cheerful. Or at least that is what he heard. It was weird that he hadn't even seen her yet but he already felt as if they had a bond that was thicker than that of normal blood and emotion. Something that he thinks he has with his wife and even his wolf.

The young girl opened the door in front of them after they had knocked. It was weird seeing her for the first time without saying much. It was like he had missed most of her life but at the same time he had more hope for her than ever since she was older and they could do more things together that she could actually remember instead of just forgetting while she was really young.

She invited them into her dorm and sat us down in the chairs she recently cleared of. Shadow sat between the two chairs and Atom was in the left right chair. He wiggled his bottom in the chair weirdly for a moment to get comfortable and possible humor himself and anyone else that noticed and then looked at the young girl. He opened his mouth to speak but the stopped and put his finger on his chin. What to say? First impressions are everything, right?

"Alright, I guess I'll start then, right? Okay." Atom started. He decided to take the lead in the talking since everyone else seemed to be settling in on this. "It looks like you are trying to go somewhere so we should make this quick. First, lets introduce ourselves shall we?" Atom paused and pointed to himself first, then his wife, and finally shadow. "Hi, my name is Atom Lawlett, nice to meet you. This is my beautiful and sometimes short tempered wife, Axel Lawlett, and our amazing pet Shadow. Atom winked at Axel when he introduced her as to try and make a joke about her. He petted Shadow on the neck softly as well.

He looked to the young girl and figured she would introduce herself next but then again, it wasn't something that seemed evident in this situation. Maybe Axel would say something next to further break the ice. The air in the room seemed a little awkward and would probably get more awkward as they talked so it wouldn't really be breaking ice, more like carving an ice sculpture that displayed something abstract and weird, more so accurately describing the tension in the room than just simply, "breaking the ice.

Sighing rather heavily when she heard the turn of the door, to her surprise, the girl standing there was nothing like Axel could have never imagined. She was beautiful, most likely the most radiant teenager she had ever seen. There was this aura and vibe her her that completely pushed away all of her doubts and concerns about the whole adoption thing. She wanted to just stop there and compliment the girl on her looks and awesomeness, but that wasn't her. She had to ask like a mother figure to this girl, not a sister. Smiling a bit as the girl let them in, she quickly looked around for a place to sit, which was happily mapped out and clean for her. Sitting in the chair and Atom and Shadow join in, she looked over at Atom as he moved weirdly in his seat, which made Axel roll her eyes. As it seemed that Atom was the first to break the mood, he happily introduced himself, then her, but by his words, gained him a glare and a sneer from her. Finishing off with their wolf's introduction, Axel focused on the girl in front of them. "And your name is, Izzabella, right? Do you know why we are here?" She hoped that her statement hadn't came off as creepy or weird, as she already knew the girl's name, but she wanted to cut right to the point as, like Atom said, she looked like she was heading somewhere.

Izzy sat down on her bed across from the couple and their dog wolf thing. She was pretty sure it was obvious what the creature was but she wasn't going to put into one category just yet. She was way more interested in what the couple had to say. Logically Izzy probably should've figured out what was going on. Why else would too adults show up at her room other than to adopt her, however Izzy figured it was because she was either in trouble...or in trouble. Therefore she said the first thing that came to mind. "It totally wasn't my fault, Okay I told the boy to leave me on but he didn't. I didn't mean to set his hair on fire. His eyebrows are totally gonna grow back, the nurse lady said so."

Izzy nervously twirled her hair around her finger, were they gonna take her to that school she had heard about. For those bad kids, she wasn't a bad kid she was a good kid. No matter what the old lady from the other orphanage had said. She hadn't meant to set anything on fire, she was just learning how to control her powers. She just couldn't catch a break.

Atom's face contorted into something magical when Izzabella blurted out the first thing that came to mind. His chin got low, his lips curled and his eyebrows danced on his face. What was she going on about? Axel asked a simple question but it turned into some interrogation confession at a police station. Setting a boy's hair on fire? What happened to his eyebrows? So many thoughts scrolled through the brain of this one unassuming man and then just stopped. "Wait, his eyebrows are never coming back..." Atom said to himself, under his breath. he started to think about this but then he got side tracked. That wasn't what they were there for.

"No, no. Calm down, don't worry yourself. We aren't hear concerning what you did to that young man or his eyebrows. This reason is way more special and will probably be quite different especially considering the time of day we are doing this...Come to think of it, why are we doing this so randomly?" Atom continued to distract himself from the real reason why they were there. It was weird to say the least and he wasn't usually like this.

The girl came off completely differently as to what Axel had hoped for, as her simple question had gotten mixed and redirected to make them now think of an eyebrow-less boy. Blinking rather rapidly, she wasn't quite sure as to what she was supposed to say. Thankfully, Atom did, but his words were also misdirected to focus on other things that still hadn't made them get to the point. "Thanks, Atom." She said under her breath as she looked in the direction of him, and then back to the girl. "I hope that the boy is okay yes, but you aren't in trouble, like he said. This is a more..." She thought of the right word to use. "Family type matter, darling." It felt awfully weird to her to call someone that was merely 8 years younger than her darling. "We heard that you were in fact an orphan and me, we wanted to know if you would want a family of your own." She gave the girl a reassuring smile, as she hoped that the girl wouldn't kick them out or run away.

Izzy sighed in relief she wasn't in trouble. Which made things incredibly more interesting because what were they doing in her room. "No, they're gonna grow back the nurse said so." She assured the man, just so he wouldn't think she was going around causing hair loss. Of course that also meant...wait a family. Her eyes went wide and she squealed "YEs, Yes, YEs the answer is yes. I totally want to be apart of your family." She was incredibly sure that she wanted a mom and dad. She had never had a dad before and she was hoping that this family would actually stick around.

"Sorry about the fire thing...It's just I was really worried about getting trouble. My power is still pretty new to me." She explained, she felt that it was only right she explain what was happening around her. She didn't want to people to be getting in over their head....DId that mean she had to stop her schemes...nah they seemed like nice people, they would understand her need to do things.

Atom was confused when she assured him that the boy's eyebrows would grow back after being, more than likely, brutally singed of by the flames that she used, or something. Poor boy, he may never get a girlfriend now. But then again, this island is a hot spot for random and weird so anything is possible, but maybe not likely. "I wonder what the boy looks like now that he has no eyebrows...Probably like a cave man or something. That would be...atrocious." Atom thought to himself while everything was still happening. It was unlike him to get so distracted but maybe he was just a bit 'bubbly' now that he was adopting and he was extremely excited.

Looking at Axel and then looking at Izzabella, Atom's eyebrow when up higher than ever before. He saw some kind of a resemblance between the two, maybe as if they were already related. But then again the sun was awfully bright shining through the window. Maybe it was the glare that went through his irises like an armed tank...."Wait, what?" he said to himself all of a sudden. he was to busy in some random thoughts that he didn't realize what was happening. But when he did, the largest smile grew on him.

Upon realizing that Axel had already asked the question, his eyes grew wide in the split second that it took the young girl to answer. Her outburst of emotion showed a mass of affection and fulfillment. Atom's smile specifically was big and bright showing everything he had to offer. His teeth were bright in that devilish sun that was destroying his corneas. He took his hand off of Shadow's head where it rested and stood up. He straightened his jacket and held out his hand to help up his wife. They were going to be a family now and he might as well start showing his deepest affection, right? Holding his arms out wide and his head high, we waited to embrace both of the most important girls in his life now, not only to show that the bond was real between them all, but to show that they had something that would be held forever without falter.

Giving the girl the brightest smile she had ever given anyone, she was truly happy that the girl had said yes so quickly. Axel had also been sure that the girl would have had to think for a while, or have questions beforehand. What if they were murders? Or something nasty and bad? Of course they weren't those things, but it was mostly Axel's head running in circles with happiness. "Thank you." She said rather lowly as she kept her smile. Looking over at Atom, who was equally as happy, if not more, it seemed that for some reason, he wanted to stand up. As he took her hand, so did she. Not asking what exactly he was planing on doing, he made it very clear when he let go of her hand and raised his arms, most likely looking for a hug form the both of them. "Sorry, he can be a bit of a stupid sap." Moving closer and warming her one arm around him, she left the other extended for her new daughter. "But he's pretty cool, most of the time." Shadow then casually went in between hers and Atom's legs, as if to join in. "If you're okay with a hug."
