Kallias

Kallias looks like an average enough human boy for the most part. He stands 5'7", and is of average weight. There are some signs of the beauty that gave him his name, but they're largely hidden under how perpetually nervous he looks. He has tanned skin and green eyes, with dark brown hair. He wears glasses for distance, and his clothes tend to be extremely plain, although he wears them awkwardly.

Kallias is nervous first and foremost. Not shy, but truly nervous. He's previously earned the ire of the gods, and he is fully intent on doing absolutely anything he can to stay on everyone's good side--especially any gods. He tends to come off as a bit grovelling, which can be hit or miss with people.

He's also profoundly ignorant as to how life are supposed to work. The life he had is so far from life on the island that his experiences are more or less completely useless. He doesn't know what he's supposed to be doing, and as one dorm kid among many, he doesn't get nearly as much support.

Enforced Human Capability Bracelet: Kallias wears a bracelet on his right wrist which locks him into a human form. In this form, he has no supernatural abilities, and is effectively a completely ordinary human.

Monstrous: Kallias was cursed to take a monstrous form, and while in it he loses all of his humanity. His monster form is like the horrible offspring of a tiger and an alligator, only twice as capable as either, and is incapable of dying. Even if killed, it will simply regenerate during the next full moon.

Monstrous: If not contained by a human capability charm, Kallias becomes trapped in a monstrous form. He has no control over his actions, and is both aggressive and feral. This curse is enforced by Hera, and resists the majority of anti-curses. Anyone who did manage to remove it would no doubt face her wrath.

Simple Language Charm (Ancient Greek): This is the standard language charm provided to most characters. It translates a characters mother tongue into English, and allows them to hear English as their mother tongue.

Warning for mentions of noncon and slavery

• Kallias was born under another name, a free man at birth. He was only a child when his home was raided, and he was taken into slavery.
• Kallias worked as a domestic servant at a large citizen's house, where he was just one of many. His life was largely standard until the day he turned sixteen, when he largely by chance he caught the eye of Zeus, king of the gods.
• Zeus, never one to ask permission, simply abducted Kallias where he stood, retreating to a nearby temple where he had his way with him. Unfortunately for Kallias (and of course not effecting Zeus at all), the temple Zeus had taken shelter in was one dedicated to his wife, Hera, and the angry goddess immediately set about ruining Kallias's life.
• Kallias was cursed, twisted into an inhuman form and effectively trapped in his own body. He had no control of himself, effectively becoming a feral abomination that existed solely to rampage and kill any humans he came across.
• Zeus, in and all-too-common stroke of absolute idiocy, decided that the best way to handle Kallias was simply to confine him in a cave and leave him there. Unable to die, Kallias was trapped there for millenia, the world passing along without him.
• In late 2018, a team of scouts were able to locate the monster, and by some miracle recognize that he was a sapient human. Several scouts were seriously injured wrangling Kallias, but in the end a bracelet was latched onto one of his forelimbs, and he reverted to human form.
• His adjustment to the island was difficult. He needed a language charm, and plenty of time to adjust to the idea of being not just free, but a citizen of the island.

Not a thing to his name, he lives on the school's charity.

Kallias's name would be written Καλλίας in his native tongue.
