Just too quiet...

Unfortunately, when he got into one of his more daring and curious moods, Sabriel became somewhat of an idiot. He stopped walking as well though, and sighed, shaking his head. "I just asked a question..." he said quietly. "And, you know... threatening to kill someone isn't nice, either." Yes, he was probably going to get hurt really badly, but hopefully that would teach him a lesson.

Sabriel blinked and quickly stumbled out of the way of the tentacles, sighing as one of them did actually manage to hit him. He looked at his arm; it was just a scratch, bleeding just a tiny bit. But he had barely felt the small amount of pain that came with it... well, that was just great. He was going to be like his brother sooner than he had thought, wasn't he?

Even so, he decided not to bother this guy anymore. Maybe he would turn out to be a murderer. The thirteen-year-old shrugged his shoulders, and started taking a few steps backwards, though not turning his back on Jira... just in case.
