"I can turn into a horse," Ara said with a nod. "And my staff here helps me fly and teleport myself. What about you?" She could feel a few strands of hair on her face, and she quickly pulled them behind her ear. Pulling her hair back wasn't the most important thing to do at the moment, so it could wait.
"The dance on december 10th! I havn't found anyone yet, but if I find somone, I'll go!" Jacob answerd.
Michael looked back and forth between them as tehy talked. Well, she lost interest in me fast enough... He heard a small scoff in his head. Of course she did. Why would she want us when she could have little Jakey-Wakey. A grim smile crept onto Michael's face. I dare you to ask her out first. The voice said. Though Michael new that would be mean to Jacob, the voice in his head was convicing him. It could be fun... He thought. He took a step towards Ara.

She knew that asking her in front of Jacob wasn't exactly the nicest thing to do, but boys confused her sometimes, so she said nothing about this and kept the smile on her face. 'Cool!' He said happily. But inside he was somewhat angry with himslef. You might have made me ask her to make Jacob feel bad. But I'm gonna make sure she has a good time. The voice in his head sighed. Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say.

"I don't know..." Ara looked around as well, the smile still on her face. She just couldn't help it — this would be her first dance ever! It didn't matter if they were going as just friends; it was still her first dance, and that's what made it special.
