Lavi knocked on Jacobs door, wearing the clothes that she had been able to borrow from Jacob the last time. She could keep it because she hid it, though a little dirty from being underground the clothes would give Jacob less of a trouble her last visit could have given him. Last time she had hid the clothes and even though the thought was discussing she rolled around in mud and dirt to give the dirty impression she had had when Jacob had first found her.

With the clothes hidden and her dirty look back she could return with less of a worry though she came back before Constantine Black did, he was Light and she could shower.

Back to today, she knocked on the door three times, hoping that he was home and that she wasn't bothering him and hoping that the two could come up with something to get rid of Dark, even if it was just temporary.

Lavi did not have to wait long before the door opened with Jacob behind it.

"Yes? What can I--"

Jacob's usual knock-at-the-door greeting proved unnecessary when he saw who it was that was at his door. The friendly smile he used for answering and meeting possible strangers quickly faded with the presence of Lavi, to be replaced with concerned eyes. At least this time around, he thought less of the dirt on the borrowed clothes. He stepped aside to let her in.

"Lavi. Come on in. Come."

Before closing the door behind her, he leaned out into the corridor to see if anyone was witness to Lavi's appearance at his apartment. No one. Feeling relieved, and a little hopeful, he closed the door and went back to her.

Once again, it was just him in the apartment, and it was apparent that it was his day off. Jacob was dressed in just a tank top and some loose pants, not his usually nice clothes, and he was even wearing his seldom-seen glasses. The dining room table was covered in papers, binders and folders. It was all paperwork from school or assignments he needed to grade.

"Please tell me he didn't hurt you, Lavi. Please tell me you're here for something else."
