“Better keep up!â€Â
Allen rolled his eyes. He could easily keep up with them! As soon as the wolf and Enelya took off running, the immortal did the same. Hopefully the pup wasn't too far away... he hadn't gone on really long runs in quite a while. But, whatever, he would live.
The wolf then looked back at him and growled, which only caused Allen's eyes to narrow. Growl yourself... he thought. It wasn't like he was going to hurt their little pack more — he was just going to help. Or watch... whichever Enelya wound up needing him to do.
Upon reaching the rest of the pack, the knight stopped running and took a breath, looking around. As Enelya nudged him to show the wolves his hand, he supposed he would do so. He didn't want to get attacked, or get growled at anymore. He crouched down, offering the canines his hand to be judged.
“Oh dear…â€Â
Allen followed the Plant-Lady as the female wolf dragged her over to the pup. Eyes widened a bit and he blinked upon seeing the dry blood around its leg. He wondered if the poor thing would even live, since that trap looked like it was firmly around the poor thing.
“If anything we can yank it apart together. Sound like a plan?â€Â
He nodded. "That sounds like it will work," he said. "And if not, then I can try to pry it open with my sword. If neither of those work, well... then we'll cross that bridge once we get to it." Hopefully he wouldn't have to remove the poor things leg. That would just be devastating. It was sickening that people had to hunt, especially on the grounds of a school where a student could get caught...
He grabbed one side of the trap, ready to try and pull it open when Enelya was. He was going to do whatever he could to get the little wolf free.
