Aurora rolled her eyes a little bit. She was every bit capable of dropping this holographic monstrosity with her hands alone, excepting the fact of her small stature. She'd have to use magic to do so, and in doing so might create a paradoxial force. In all likelihood, she would take just as much damage as she dished out, something that was wholly unnecessary when Aurora was not dealing with a 'real' creature so to speak.

After getting burned slightly, William appeared to just give up in being anything but subtle, and dove right into the being, creating something of a swiss cheese effect with the dagger she had given him use of. Aurora was questioning giving him use of it in the first place given his ferocity, but in the end, it appeared everything was going to work out, and when William asked for a finisher, the mage was all too eager to oblige.

She had already burned most of her flashy stuff, but William had already done the damage needed to finish the job. Loading a magazine of hollow-points into her P220, she lifted the weapon and precisely unloaded into the chinks that had been created with sword and dagger, practically exploding on the creature from the inside. She unloaded two magazines of .45 ACP, generally ineffective against body armor, but with missing scales, the damage was immense.

The creature was put down rather quickly. Aurora ejected the magazine as the slain beast fell into the swamp.

"Well! That was certainly fun now wasn't it! Although I must admit I'm getting a bit tired."

Yeah. William said, the ferocity he had exhibited when attacking the monster melting away along with the holographic walls around them, wiping the blood from his forehead. Slamming against the swamp floor is going to make you bleed, he learned, even if the said floor wasn't real...

You seemed to have had fun. Spirit said, waiting for him as the room went back to normal.

Perhaps, but I'm fairly sure I've lost it again. William gritted his teeth looking at his burned hand. The water and such have went away, but the wounds staied. Stings like a bitch. he muttered, trying to find a position in which it wouldn't hurt so much.

Sorry. Spirit suddenly apologized, nuzzling against that same hand and giving it a small lick.

Not your fault. William answered, petting him, before turning back to Aurora.

Thanks for the game. he said, offering her her dagger back.

The smell was retreating...the dampness of the swamp, all the trees, vines, and even the holographic bodies had started to disappear, and the neutral smell of a gridded white room reasserted itself. Unfortunately, smell was not holographic, and despite the main odor from the simulation being gone, it was still etched into her clothing.

"And thank you for showing me how to use this thing. It was good meeting you but uh...I think I'm going to go take a shower. I still feel like swamp water. See you at school!"

Aurora sheathed her dagger and bagged it up along with the rest of the goodies. She was already tired, and wanting to participate now in something a little less deadly, like maybe the drums or something.

"And try not to get into too much trouble? You seem to be a good guy, and I'd hate to see you go the wrong way in life. Later!"

The mage headed for the showers to remove the gunk, and then go play some rock.

Well, I haven't heard that one in a while. he said, looking after Aurora as he left.

Doesn't mean it isn't true. Warrior said calmly, glueing himself off the wall.

I agree. Spirit said, sniffing at William's hand. But we can talk about that later. Now, you need a shower, and some bandages as well.

And they left, leaving the room empty.
