Bel sauntered two minutes late into detention, ignoring whomever was already there, and went directly over to a free desk near the back of the room. There she very purposefully dropped her book bag from up high so it would make a loud thud that'd echoed through the room as it hit the desktop.

Sitting down with a plop at the desk, Bel sighed loudly and somewhat obnoxiously, making sure her great displeasure at being there was very apparent to anyone in the room. Making eye contact then with another student for a brief second, Bel just smirked and sat back in her chair, crossing her arms in front of her defiantly.

That morning, Bel had arrived late to one of her remedial classes, and the teacher, instead of asking why she was late, had proceeded to reprimand her and warn her about tardiness - all of which had grated on her nerves and in response to such harsh words - she had only been 3 or 4 minutes late - Bel had told the teacher off and called him a few choice insults in Welsh. Unfortunately and unknowingly for her, her teacher spoke like twenty different languages and Welsh was one of them.

So now, she was here, in detention, told to think about what she had done, how she had reacted, and how she should have responded better and in a more useful and productive way.

Patty wasn't really sure what this whole detention thing was about. She was but taking apart a pen when the spring mechanism sent sent the cap flying, struck someone in the eye, there was a bunch of screaming, a kid was sent to the nurse, the teacher give her a detention slip, had her explain what detention was, told her to go to this room and now she was in this room. Yeah she didn't quite understand the whole thing as sat in her seat with the sparse few others sitting in the room with her. As she chewed on one of her grossly long fingernails she looks to the nearest person and asked.

"Umm... are we suppose to be doing something? This is my first time here but it feels like we are just sitting around doing nothing."

Irso had neatly aligned a few stacks of paper in front of him while the detention room was still empty. Being the first person there only seemed right considering he was to be the teacher for this session and needed to set an example of punctuality and seriousness when a task was given. Each stack was different with red markings all over them, with little notes in a foreign language. Taking this time to catch up on work was a good use of his time he felt as the silence helped him focus.

To either side of him was Irso's "teachers aides". Constructs he had created to help him in his day to day tasks. They were the allies to which he pawned off menial tasks such as passing out papers and watching students. On his left towards the door was a tanned giant seven foot tall human with an imposing musculature and no face. The large figure was stuffed into a suit which tried hard to project a professional demeanor. On his right was a fair-skinned average height female with purple hair and eyes. Her hair was tied into giant loops that made it look like a bow was on her head. Irso had given her a rather emotionless face so the women silently and blankly looked toward the empty room.

When the first signs f students began to pour in Irso would nod and smile to each of them while carefully packing up his work, save for one stack of papers. Each one seemed different in appearance and swagger but one feel was shared by all of them and that was that they didn't want to be here and found this whole ordeal meaningless. That's why when one of the students spoke up he perked up and adjusted his tie, even if the question wasn't for him.

"I'm glad you asked because today I will be having you all explain why it is you are here. You can write it if you want but I will call on some of you to explain what you've done to the class. Since you were the first to speak you can go first."

Irso snapped toward the large man and like a machine, the stalwart tank collected the lone stack of paper on his desk and began passing it out to the students.

"This will be your attendance so I expect you all to do it. I am also here to help you with whatever I can. If you have questions for me please feel free to ask." He smiled toward the class and st back down awaiting the response from Patty.

Ah, detention. Something that was much too familiar for Tomo. Since she had enrolled into Starlight academy Tomo had been sent to detention many times, for many different reasons. From sending notes to correcting the teacher to rigging someone's backpack so it sent slime flying to their face when they opened it. That had been a priceless prank, Tomo had laughed for days.
But lately she hadn't been here that much. Mostly because Tomo had calmed down a bit with the pranks and focused on her training. And it had been worth it, despite getting few new scars.
And now Tomo was in detention because she had accidentally broken a school computer because she was still struggling to control her new strength. The lamest reason to be in detention, at least in Tomo's books.

Tomo was leaning back in her hair, spinning a pen in her fingers. She only had three of them in her left hand so there was challenge, at least. Tomo wasn't allowed to turn into a cat in detention, which sucked. If she was a cat Tomo could cat nap, or chase dust balls, or do anything else even remotely entertaining. As a human she was stuck being bored. And peeking on the other people in detention, that was a bit entertaining.
A girl she hadn't seen before came in, acting really angsty and moody and that was so funny. Tomo held back a grin, and turned her head a bit as she followed the girl with her eyes. Oh yeah, this girl was emanating the "I don't wanna be here, I am so angsty, fuck my life" aura. Tomo snorted and turned her eyes away from the girl.

Tomo wanted to groan, when the teacher watching them announced their assignment, but she kept her signs of defiance at rolling her eyes. Tomo turned her head to look at Patty, hopefully these people had interesting stories to tell because there was nothing else to do around here.

"Bhaaah?" blurted out Patty as the the teacher aide spoke up, turing her innocent question into an embrassing introduction for the entire class. "Oh uhh... o-ohay."

Patty stands up in her seat, looking out at all the faces now eyeing her. Her wriggling tentacles now flaccid and limp as she looks nervously to everyone... feeling extremely exposed. As she thinks on how to explain the seris of events that led her here, she taps her nails togother to make a satisfying clacking noise. Taking in gulp of air she tells her story as instructed.

"Okey... uhh... hi! I'm Patty... Patty Patterson... well it all stared with me taking apart a pen because I wanted to know how it works. As I was taking it apart the little spring sent the cap flying off. I was all really really impressed then someone cried out "Ow my eye!" on the other side of the room." told Patty as she accentuates the point with jazz hands "Then everyone was shrieking, the teacher got really mad, there was a lot of yelling then I was told that I was getting a detention and didn't know what that was so I asked then everyone-laughed-and-the-teachertoldmeIwasintroubleand-"

After speaking non-stop, Patty inhaled a deep breath of air so that she could get oxygen flowing into her dizzying brain. After a brief pause she continued to wrap up the story in a rapid pace.

"-thenItriedtofindthisroombutgotlostuntilsomeonehelpedmegetunlostandsonowIamhereitissuper nice to meet you all!" upon finishing takes takes seris of rapid breaths for speaking so long. After so looks to everyone she collapses back into her seat, her head laying on the desk as she hides half her face under her fabby arms. Public speaking was hard.

The exotic looking girl, Patty, was super nervous and Tomo kinda got infected with it and she stopped leaning back in her chair and squirmed a bit, while listening. Despite the second-hand nervousness the story was funny and Tomo grinned a bit. She didn't make it obvious though, she didn't want Patty or the teacher to think she was being mean. It was still strange that Tomo even cared about that. The old her would've straight-up laughed at Patty's story.
Maybe it was just good Tomo was different now.

"Relax kid. You're just gonna sit here for few hours and get bored and that's it. No big."
Tomo said to Patty and snickered, trying to maybe reassure the girl a bit. But Tomo wouldn't be surprised if it had no effect, Patty seemed really nervous after that.

Bel just rolled her eyes when the teacher spoke. She almost felt like yawning, almost, until she saw that he was quite serious about them telling the class what they had done. Sitting up straighter in her desk, Bel watched and listened quietly as the one girl stumbled quickly through why she was in detention. Grimacing at her obvious discomfort, Bel felt indignant actually. The reason why she was given detention was just plain stupid in her opinion. It had been an accident, couldn't her teacher see that?

Accepting the paper from his assistant, Bel glanced at the white-haired girl for a moment as she comforted Patty and wondered why she was here.

Patty looked over to look at the white haired girl telling her not to worry and relax. It was unexpected but the reassurance was welcomed. Patty beamed a wide-grinned smile to Tomo, appreciating that a fellow troublemaker showed her solidarity. More welcomed than the pointing and laughing from earlier today that made her stressed out.

"Thanksssss mate." thanked Patty, sitting up on her seat and looking a bit better. She remains seated, waiting to hear the tales of everyone else on how it was they ended up in this detention room.

Irso nodded as Patty finished flying through her story. He had seen this before during his last detention session. Students who were there simply by mistake or so they would claim. Thankfully it wasn't his job to separate the truth from the lie in this scenario. All he had to do was supervise. An easy enough task and a good way to meet new students that could use more direction.

"Thank you Ms.Patterson. Next time just try to be more careful when messing with things you don't fully understand. The last thing we want is for someone to be irreversibly injured over a mistake."

Irso's eyes immediately locked onto the next person to speak. He personally hadn't seen her before but he did recall other teachers describing the young lady. A repeat offender it seemed, Irso could never understand why students would willingly put themselves into a scenario they knew they would hate. Despite her kindness, he still didn't refrain from putting the spotlight on her next.

"Ms. Hikari, it seems you are here again so please feel free to tell me what it is you have done this time."

Tomo wasn't surprised when the teach ordered her to go next. Rather, she had expected it. Tomo had spoken up expecting that, and she grinned bit defiantly at Irso and stood up with spirit, her hands on her hips.
"So you've heard of me. Seems my reputation precedes me."
Tomo snickered and sent a look around the classroom. Unlike Patty Tomo didn't mind all these eyes on her. She was used to it at this point. You weren't a troublemaker without some attention on you.
Well, ex-troublemaker.

"Well, I'm Tomomi Hikari, but just Tomo with everyone. And believe me, I've had so many more interesting reasons I've been here. But today it's a pretty lame reason, honestly. I folded a school laptop in half the wrong way, accidentally. And I probably wasn't sorry enough for it, and that's why they sent me here. The teacher probably did it automatically at this point 'cos, ya know, it's me."
Tomo laughed at herself and sat back down, feeling pretty happy with how she presented her story and herself. Not too cocky or anything, but still chill and funny.
"Say teach, can I turn into a cat? I swear I'll just sit on my desk and nap. I mean, repent."
