Finnegan hardly thought of himself as a disney prince. He was, very simply, a man who wanted to make a charming young lady smile. He quite missed the days when certain standards for these interactions were much firmer, and would uphold the old fashioned etiquette in his own lifestyle. Believing women should be given the utmost respect, and treated to wonderful little adventures to show you care, didn't make him a prince. It made him a proper gentleman, as all men should be. When did making effort go out of style? Hell, this wasn't even that much effort. It was easy to take her along with him like this, and worthwhile.
Finn felt a warmth in his chest as Blue held him tightly. They rode leisurely through the streets, his biking smooth and loose. He laughed airily when she stood up. "Careful, careful, sweetheart!" but it was a more careless sort of warning, and accompanied by further giggles. Riding into the portal was like passing through a burst of bubbles, leaving him blinking for a moment, shaking himself off. He adjusted to the location switch without further hesitation, as though the feeling was a bit ever-jarring, he was used to bouncing back from it and getting back to his business. Manta Carlos daily life held many things like that.
Finn glanced back at Blue and flashed her a grin. "You'll see in a minute. We're almost there." After a brief ride through the adorable less used roads in the city, where they could wave to residents and others riding bikes or taking afternoon strolls, they were out from the maze of buildings and near the seaside, saltwater scent in the air and seagulls calling. Right near the beach was a boardwalk amusement park, all color and excited yelling and pure, shameless fun. He wasn't sure if Blue had already been, but if she had, he was certain she wouldn't complain about going again.
"Surprise!" Finn chirped, cheerful, as he came to a stop near a bike rack. He got off, leaning the bike against it first, then scooped up Blue from the back and twirled with her before setting her down. Smiley, he parked and locked up his bike there before looking back to her. He dipped a hand into his pockets, and produced two bracelets, wrapping them around his own and Blue's wrists, then giving her hand a squeeze. "Already have these, which work as passes for any ride or game you can think of. Didn't want to make you suffer through the line to the ticket booth, so a friend who owed me hooked me up as a favor. We can go straight in. Ready?"
