Finnegan was waiting outside one of the many classrooms in the Academy for his dear friend and lover Blue to be let out. He was surprising the girl today! He knew she was a young woman with an appreciation for spontaneous fun, so he couldn't imagine she'd oppose to this, and he wanted to do something nice for her, along with spend time together.

It was summer, the most wonderful time of the year, and that meant a lot of recreational activities and excitement had opened up to the public. If there was anything Finn thought Blue might enjoy, it was the amusement park. She tended to be bright in everything she was involved in, though. He smiled fondly at the thought. He wanted to see her face light up.

Finn greeted all the students and staff members perkily as they passed in the hall, then when they were spilling out of the previously ongoing class, hurrying off to other things, parties and homework. He kept his eyes out for pretty colors and tentacles, though he didn't think it was possible to miss Blue's presence even in passing. He held up a bag of fresh blueberries and some gummy heart shaped candy as a lure for her, as well, humming.

Blue didn't have a lot of classes in the Doctorate program. She just had two, in fact, around noon every weekday. The workload was harder, but she managed this along with her job. After having an entire class about Late Mesopotamia, the bell rang, and Blue was excited to be let out.

She was pretty tame in school compared to other places. Usually, she would be all about fun and partying, but that was simply a way to de-stress because... really, who sought out stress in their after job-work hours? She felt good studying here. Nobody knew she was a stripper and just knew her as Michelle, a bubbly, but valuable, member of the Social Science Department.

"Well, this is my stop, see you Shellie," her classmate said, two of them waving her off. They parted ways and she walked alone, but never lonely, humming a small tune as she skipped past the Hallway. She waved and greeted people she knew, and saw Mr. Leighton in the Hallways. Why! What a surprise. He was all over the place, so he wasn't usually in her building. She didn't have anything else to do, so she bounced right over to him, eyeing his bag of treats.

"Finny! I want your gummies," she said, stuffing her hand in the bag and shoving a mix of blueberries and gummies into her mouth. She giggled and held onto his arm, absolutely giddy. "What are you doing in these parts? Came to see lil' ol' me? Wise choice, I'm not wearing any panties right now."

And there she was, just in time and as gorgeous as ever. Finnegan smiled with a patient fondness as she stuffed her face with his gifts. "I knew that bait would work. Hello, Blue," he greeted softly, reaching out to rest a hand on her head, petting the tenta-hair there. "I did, in fact, come here to fetch you, dear! We're going to have fun today."

The not wearing any panties comment did throw him for a moment, causing him to blink and wet his lips, but he recovered just as fast and laughed. "Goodness, perhaps we should stop somewhere to get you some, then! The outing I have in mind may make being lacking in that area inconvenient, as appealing as it may otherwise be. Hm."

Finn clapped his hands together. "We're wasting daylight! Off we go. Don't worry. You're going to like this." He linked their arms and went about leading her outside, through the halls and into the courtyard, where he'd left his bike. He got on, then pat the back rack, which someone else could sit on. He was absolutely encouraging her to hold on to him for the ride.

It'd be through school grounds to the nearest portal, then the city. Not too long, but enough to let them feel the fresh air on their skin and take in the beautiful scenery that was Manta Carlos.

Blue giggled as she was pet, her hair tentacles fondly wrapping around his hand. "Wow! Really?" That was so sweet! She smiled, face flushed and heart fluttering. "Is that why all the girls call you a Disney prince, Finny? You have a habit of sweeping them off their feet?"

That look meant she was getting to him, but it went as fast as it came. She shook her head, and jumped, spreading her legs. The ruffly skirt was, in fact, loose shorts! Blue was very well-versed in the art of deception. "This should be fine, right? If someone tries to look up them now, it's not my problem!"

She took his arm happily, before jumping onto his back and letting him piggyback her outside. She jumped off when they got to the bike. How cute!

"I'm always going to like it, baby," she said, jumping onto the bike with him. She pressed closed, arms around his waist and chest pressed against his back. She rubbed her cheek on his shoulder. The sun was up. The breeze was fresh. This, this seemed lovely and nice and innocent, and she couldn't help but be endlessly charmed by it. She stood up on the odd wheel handles, feeling the air in her hair. "I love your sweet ride, gramps!"

As they passed through the portal, she looked around. "City, huh! What's the big surprise?"

Finnegan hardly thought of himself as a disney prince. He was, very simply, a man who wanted to make a charming young lady smile. He quite missed the days when certain standards for these interactions were much firmer, and would uphold the old fashioned etiquette in his own lifestyle. Believing women should be given the utmost respect, and treated to wonderful little adventures to show you care, didn't make him a prince. It made him a proper gentleman, as all men should be. When did making effort go out of style? Hell, this wasn't even that much effort. It was easy to take her along with him like this, and worthwhile.

Finn felt a warmth in his chest as Blue held him tightly. They rode leisurely through the streets, his biking smooth and loose. He laughed airily when she stood up. "Careful, careful, sweetheart!" but it was a more careless sort of warning, and accompanied by further giggles. Riding into the portal was like passing through a burst of bubbles, leaving him blinking for a moment, shaking himself off. He adjusted to the location switch without further hesitation, as though the feeling was a bit ever-jarring, he was used to bouncing back from it and getting back to his business. Manta Carlos daily life held many things like that.

Finn glanced back at Blue and flashed her a grin. "You'll see in a minute. We're almost there." After a brief ride through the adorable less used roads in the city, where they could wave to residents and others riding bikes or taking afternoon strolls, they were out from the maze of buildings and near the seaside, saltwater scent in the air and seagulls calling. Right near the beach was a boardwalk amusement park, all color and excited yelling and pure, shameless fun. He wasn't sure if Blue had already been, but if she had, he was certain she wouldn't complain about going again.

"Surprise!" Finn chirped, cheerful, as he came to a stop near a bike rack. He got off, leaning the bike against it first, then scooped up Blue from the back and twirled with her before setting her down. Smiley, he parked and locked up his bike there before looking back to her. He dipped a hand into his pockets, and produced two bracelets, wrapping them around his own and Blue's wrists, then giving her hand a squeeze. "Already have these, which work as passes for any ride or game you can think of. Didn't want to make you suffer through the line to the ticket booth, so a friend who owed me hooked me up as a favor. We can go straight in. Ready?"

Blue stood higher to watch where they were going. They were out of the city and into the rocky roads. As they drew nearer, she smelled sea water, and shivered in delight. Ohh, that was lovely. Her cheeks flushed. That smelled just like home.

As soon as she saw where Finn parked, she gasped, and she was suddenly picked up! She laughed, and spun, and squealed, jumping in excitement. "Finn! Finn! You brought me to the amusement park!" She squealed, again, barely able to contain her excitement. She always told herself she'd go here but never found the time to, always watching the colorful Ferris wheel from the glass walls of her living room beach house. Now she was here!

It was so much wonderful, so much colorful than she imagined. All the lights! The people! Screaming, laughing, talking. Blue had always been an extroverted person, riding on laughter and good vibes, and this, this seemed like the sort of place she'd fit right in. She wanted to ride everything. She wanted to touch everything! How did Finn find such a perfect date for her? He was wonderful.

Her knees were trembling like noodles. Ohh gosh. She let Finn put a bracelet on her hand, and upon closer inspection, it had tiny letters that said 'FREE PASS'. She threw herself at Finn, arms around his middle like a vice, making a long, small screeching sound.

She let go of him, bouncing happily in place and taking his hand. She started tugging him at the entrance. "Finny! I'm ready! Let's go!"
