Yes, she was warm in her clothes but how would she explain that while still hiding who she where, it wasn't like she could show her self and blow her cover. She had been so good at making sure to only speaking the truth, even if it hadn't been the whole truth and while she would feel indifferent about lying she had decided early on to be someone others could trust or rely on.

Building ties where an important aspect of life that Raven essentially where interested in, partly due to her past and partly because she is a creature of habit, though there is nothing wrong with that.

"Sigh!" She let it be known that the others question bothered her, "Look at the floor, those are mine" by now there where five black feathers of the same style as the ones at the end of her braided hair, with that she hoped the other could calculate one plus one and not get freaked out and spill the beans.

She readied herself to pierce the trench coat with her wings to carry away Adelene quick enough so that she wouldn't be exposed and so that she could be dealt with if Raven would deem it necessary.

Adelene blinked at the sudden... burst? It seemed like she hit on a landmine with her question. Curiosity still torturing her, however, she glanced at the floor to check what Raven was talking about.

Feathers. She was talking about feathers.

Adelene looked up again, giving Raven's form a quick scanning look. She understood now why the lady was hunched and bulky. Those were her wings on her back.

She smiled. "Well, why do you have to hide them? Wings are beautiful, and you're in Starlight Academy, what can go wrong if you show them?"

She was a presumed dead crime lord, to reveal who she was or how she really looked like could blow her cover and the life she wanted to build could be lost to her so she rather not show off her wings in public.

She couldn't very well say this to Adelene because then the point would loose its meaning however by now she figured that the other student understand her self proclaimed nickname "Raven" came from her features, since now she knew Raven had wings, on the other hand that could also mean something else and Raven didn't have the power to read other peoples minds to shield against clever people.

"I will tell you if you want a lie" her voice, while clear was somewhat quiet because it would never work, right? It was like asking for permission to do something wrong and by doing that she made the wrong thing into a good thing, sort of, while still being somewhat less wrong. It wasn't that she was shy, she had no problem showing her true self, she just wanted to pretend to be someone who have not been a crime lord, someone less criminal for a change for a bit longer.

A genuinely struck and saddened expression crossed Adelene's face for a moment. She could tell from Raven's answer that she shouldn't push it anymore. She shook her head and smiled apologetically, before finishing her bowl.

"Don't tell if you don't want to. We all have our own things we want to keep."

She shot her a gentler smile before standing up and taking her bowl and tray with her. She just stayed here for lunch, she wasn't really planning to stay and bug a... a stranger, technically, for long. "I'm uh... done with lunch so... I don't think I have any reason to stay?" she asked as a form of permission. She didn't want to be rude. But at the same time, she was asking if Raven wanted her to go or not to go.

She was about to ruin it, she had made great progress in her attempt to make a friend but she really needed to make one thing clear. She stood up as if to make herself bigger, more intimidating, With a serious and somewhat angry look she looked directly into Adelenes eyes by lowering her sunglasses to show her pitch black eyes.

"I will kill you if you tell anyone"

Her message should have been clear and since she didn't want to announce to the world that she was there she didn't specify that she meant her physical features that made her different from humans.

Shortly after though, she sat down again, she was going to just chill, rest and enjoy her stomach which where full from the lunch. With a new cheery persona she looked at Adelene, this time with her sunglasses up to once again hide her eyes and said "Of course, I wont stop you.".

It worked that Raven seemed bigger when she stood up right in front of Adelene, but she wasn't intimidated. Even while she looked straight back into Raven's pure black eyes, she didn't feel like shrinking back. She was already small enough as she already was.

Instead, she smiled. "Kill me? I'd like to see you try. But don't worry, I won't tell anyone. I respect people's secrets."

With that smile still on her face, she casually walked past her and went to a dish-out corner to return her empty ramen bowl. But instead of leaving the cafeteria immediately, she glanced back at Raven again. And then left.

The fuck just happened? She would respond with a feather pierced through Adelenes forehead and any witnesses heads as well and leave Manta Carlos but the the other female continued talking. From a dare to words of respect, the only time Raven had been anywhere close to something similar was when someone wronged her family and they tried everything to get away alive.

Even then it was obvious that they where afraid and Adelene didn't shook, sweat, stuttered or showed some other physical sign of fear, while she may be afraid, it wasn't like when things where normal, well normal for her. Maybe it was that Adelene didn't know who Raven really where, or was, or perhaps this is how normal people react to such a thing, she just couldn't be sure.
