He had a girlfriend, not a friend with benefits, not a one night stand, a girl he was dating. Michael's arm was around her shoulders as the film ended, smiling, he leaned down and gently kissed her. "Thanks for coming over," he said, brushing a bit of hair out of her face. The young ghost genuinely cared about her, but he hadn't told her everything about the things he'd done.

"I..thought maybe we could talk for a bit," he cleared his throat, worried about the conversation that was about to happen. "S-since were dating....I thought you should know some things." @Sissel

Kaitlyn had really enjoyed having Michael as a boyfriend. He was sweet, nice, and polite... Kaitlyn enjoyed spending time with him. She was right next to him watching the movie.

Of course, her stomach felt a bit of a pit after Michael seemed like he wanted to tell her something. “Yeah, alright. Sure, tell me anything”, she said, only a hint of nervousness in her voice. She knew Michael’d done some interesting stuff before, but that was the only vague idea Kaitlyn had of what he was about to tell her. She looked at him, preparing herself a bit for whatever Michael had to share.

He cleared his throat, "remember how I used to go to those big parties?" the young ghost had done his best to quit going, and he had so far, but it was like an addiction. "Anyways, they were pretty crazy, you saw me coming home from a few," he cleared his throat again, trying to think of how to properly say it.

"So, before we dated, before we met, I'd been with a few girls at those parties," he said, putting emphasis on been, as a way of trying to say what he meant without actually saying it. "I've been afraid to tell you, because I wasn't sure how you'd react."

A small sigh escaped him, "but I don't think it's fair, to not tell you. I care about you, so I thought you had a right to know." He wasnt sure if she'd break up with him or have any number of other reactions.

The parties, they were a problem of their own. At least Michael’d considerably quit them. While Kaitlyn dissapproved of them, it was really pretty much water under the bridge at this point. What Michael was telling her about, she hadn’t really considered at all.


Actually, maybe she had. Perhaps denial had taken place, and Kaitlyn had just dismissed the thought. But whether or not she’d thought about it before really didn’t matter; it was true.

While processing everything, just an “Ah,” was all she spoke, a very slightly distant look on her face.

Sure, there really wasn’t anything to do about it now; it was already done. Really, maybe she should relax a bit. But then again, the thought of it just.....

He took a breath, "I was lost and confused, did things I shouldn't have." Michael looked to her, "I didn't think it'd be fair, not telling you, I want to be honest with you." Maybe it had been a bad idea to tell her, he could tell she was troubled by it, and he didn't blame her, hell it troubled him. "Listen if...," he paused for a moment, trying to collect his thoughts, figure out what to say.

"If you want to break up with me...then I'll understand," he really liked her, she was sweet and caring, better than he deserved. "I..uh..," he sighed a little and scratched the back of his head, "maybe I should of told you before I asked you out, I just...wasn't really sure how to."

He didn't want to lose her, he just started getting his act together to be with her. "I...uh...," he didn't know what to say, so he'd wait to see what she would say.

Kaitlyn’s mind was ripped from being bothered from the way Michael worded it. To break up over something like that... “Of course not.. it’s not really your fault, after all”, she said. “Besides, there really isn’t anything to do about it now.”, she said. Sympathy washed over her. It wasn’t Michael’s fault at all, and it was a little rude of her to think what she did.

Kaitlyn gave Michael a reassuring (yet slightly awkward) hug. “Really, I’m not gonna break up with you.”, she said, looking up at him with a small smile. “It’d have been ten times worse if you told me earlier”, she said. “And twenty times worse if you’d never have told me.. thank you.”
