Digging through everything once again, Celeste was stupified as to where she had left her personal navy blue leather organizer. She was sure she had left it on top of some student files she had been completing early that morning, right before she had had to run down to the stockroom for a moment to make sure they had enough cooking supplies for the next week or two.

"Euphemia?" Celeste said in a distracted and somewhat perplexed voice as she rummaged through her handbag. "Have you seen my organizer? It's navy blue... " she explained as she put her bag down next to her desk.

"I thought I left it on my desk..." she added as she lifted up a few papers and file folders, double-checking that she hadn't misplaced it.

Euphemia, as much of a hard worker as she was, had already finished her schoolwork for the last few days, meaning she'd been free this morning to help out Celeste as she normally did. She stood by the door, hands clasped attentively in front of her, head tilted slightly to the side as she watched her teacher search around.

"I do not recall seeing it, no." She shook her head in response. "Did you perhaps put it down somewhere else?"

"I am not sure," Celeste admitted to Euphemia as she put down the files she was holding and took a step back to stare at her desk. "Maybe I took it out when I was searching for my cell phone earlier," she said with a tiny frown, trying to remember if she had or not done exactly that.

"I guess it will turn up sooner or later," she sighed. "I just seem to be misplacing things a lot lately. Like my makeup bag. I thought I had lost it last week, and it turned up a few days later in my desk in the Cooking Lab," she explained.

"Obviously, I must have done a quick touch up before class and shoved it in my desk," she told Euphemia. To her it was the only reasonable explanation.

"Hmm..."

Euphemia considered this, her usual impassive face hiding the gears turning in her head. It was probably nothing, but something about this seemed a little odd. It might just have been her old training, teaching her to always be on guard, but surely there was no need for that. In all the months she'd been at the academy there hadn't been any incidents where she'd need to worry.

Still, she wondered.

"Have you perhaps been unwell lately, Ms Forestier?" She asked, bluntly. "You are usually well organised, it seems unusual for you to be forgetting things such as this so often."

Celeste looked straight at Euphemia with an uncertain look when her assistant asked her if she had been feeling unwell. 'Had she been feeling off?' Now Celeste wondered. Things had been a little crazy lately with Ebviony, but nothing that she couldn't handle ... or so she assumed.

"No, not really. I mean, I have been a little stressed with final exams and a few family things," she admitted. "But I don't think I've been anymore stressed than normal," she confessed with a slight furrowing of her brow, unsure now of this.

Euphemia watched as she thought about, noting the expressions on her face as the gears turned behind her head. She didn’t think it was that likely, Celeste seemed pretty stable through all the time she’d been working under her, even during the more busy periods like exam week. It was possible, though Euphemia didn’t know enough to have any other ideas.

“Ms Forestier, if I may ask, what is causing you to stress outside of your regular work?” She decided to ask, partly for her own curiosity.

"Well, besides the kids pulling me three different ways with their things," Celeste told Euphemia. "Ebvion wants to be slightly more independent. We had a discussion the other day about their babysitter and bringing friends over to play in their fae kingdom," she explained.

Celeste had told Euphemia in the past a little about her children and their needs and, what might be seen by others as their eccentricities. However, they were also things that had never bothered Celeste before - at least not to the extreme that she was so preoccupied that she was forgetting things.

"I see..."

So nothing too bad then, or at least nothing that should be keeping Celeste too preoccupied. Euphemia doubted it was just that.

"Very well. Still, I suggest you find some time to rest every now and than as well. It would do you no good to overexert yourself."

She sounded as monotone as usual, but after all this time it was clear enough that Euphemia was a little concerned for her teacher.

"If I may, might I ask what sort of information was inside your organiser?"

Celeste could only nod at Euphemia's advice. Maybe she did need to rest a bit more, maybe unknowingly stress had started getting to her. It was all very possible. Heaven knows, at times she felt like she needed a vacation again.

"The usual, I guess," Celeste said in reply as she thought the things she kept in her organizer. "My class schedules, student meetings, tutorial sessions, appointments, my kids' timetables and their teachers..." she said as her voice slowly trailed off.

"Not anything too overly important," she conceded with a little sigh. "It's just a real hassle trying to remember everything so I write it down," she explained. It was a habit Celeste had had since she was a young teenager. Writing things down helped her keep everything from spells or recipes she was learning in order to doctors' appointments.

She frowned just a little.

“Hmm. Ms Forestier, even if it seems small, it is probably best not to lose something containing this information.” She said, closing her eyes like she did when she explained things. “You have essentially described your entire schedule, and you even say it includes your childrens as well. It is not good to leave such things out in the open. If anyone had foul intentions towards you or your family, knowing where and when you will be at a given moment would be greatly useful to them.”

It was one of the most important things she’d learned in the order. Any and all information you had on someone was an advantage, any info they had on you a disadvantage. Though, it was unlikely a school teacher would have to worry about such things.
