"Well," Lochlann said. "You can't just keep me here against my will, so please unlock the door, because I'm going to go now."
Lochlann pulled at the handle with his shaking hands. When it wasn't unlocked, he took a deep breath, swung his leg back and kicked the handle. He did it once, twice, and a third time. He was a lot stronger than he looked, and Lochlann wasn't trying to break the door down---just get the handle off.
He was twitchy, jumpy, and about ready to bolt the second he got it open.
"You. Cannot. Keep. Me. Here," he said, punctuating it with a kick. His voice was starting to get the high and wild winny sound of a frightened horse.
