I Like Long Walks on the Beach

Eliana didn't stand or take his hand, just kept grinning up at him. It was hard to see in the dark, what with him blocking the moonlight, but the gesture was heard on her voice nonetheless.
"Jump into the ocean, do it!" The water was cold at night, obviously. It was extra cold to Eliana, so maybe she thought it was that bad for him too. To her, it was reminiscent of taking a chilly shower. The worst!
"But I said to!" she whined and the pouting she was doing was evident. She crossed her arms under her best, crossed her legs at the ankles, and pouted. "You do it and I'll do something for you, too."
"I don't really want anything honestly, but if you want me to dear then I will." He'd strip off his shirt and shoes, still wearing his swim trunks from earlier.
"But I'm not going in all of my clothes, that'd be a little too crazy for me." With that he slowly walked into the water. It was chilly, but it was much warmer than the water would have been where he comes from. When he got to a point where he could, Mal would dive into the water, to further acclimate his body to the temperature. He'd emerge from the water, standing where it was to his chest. "Happy?"

Eliana giggled manically as she jumped up and stood right at the waters edge. She danced back when the wave came in, almost touching her feet. That shit was cold to her, okay? "You're too sweet! Get out. You'll catch a cold." She'd stick her tongue out at him, although she wasn't sure if he could see it.
"I don't want to be the reason you're put out during this trip. Now you'll have to think of something you want from me. I always repay my debts." That was questionable.
Mal would walk out of the water and onto shore next to Eli, dripping wet and shivering on occasion. He'd materialize a towel over his shoulders and start drying off, "Def-finitely worse out of the water than in the water, much colder."
"Don't worry, I'm rather r-resistant when it comes to illness, but I'll definitely blame you if I catch a cold." He'd stick his tongue out at Eli, wrapping the towel around himself. "And I'll be thinking of how you shall be paying me back."

Eliana just couldn't stop smiling. It was pretty cute that he did that, if not a bit daft. "You should learn not to listen to me so much," she said, stepping close but not close enough to touch him. She didn't want to be cold! "We could always go back to our room and take a warm shower. Those are the best."
He'd laugh a bit, at her advice. "Yeah, that's probably not going to happen, I'll probably listen to you too much. Not my fault though, just how I am."
He'd pretend to think about this for a few moments, trying to keep himself from sounding too eager about it. "Yeah, I think I would enjoy that quite a lot."

"You think you'd enjoy that?" She snorted and gave an exaggerated roll of her eyes. "That's fine. I'll forgive you for saying that if you carry me back." She'd stick her tongue out at him, having way too much fun bossing him around. Also, Eli just liked clinging to people. She would be totally honest about that.-
