Eliana had thought Hawaii was beautiful during the day, but at night, that beauty was increased tenfold. The sound of waves rolling over the sand, over her feet, made her stomach flutter. Eliana's nights were rarely romantic, and even less likely to be peaceful. She looked out to the moon, large and looking down on the sea; it 's reflection seeming to encompass the entire glassy surface of the water. The only downside to all of this was, the water was cold. Eli hated the cold, and she loathed it even more in water form.

The demoness looked to Malvoes. She had gotten somewhat ahead of him, but now she stopped to await his approach, smiling lightly. "This how you thought the trip was going to turn out?" she called, raising her voice to ensure he heard her.

Mal enjoyed the warm air of Hawaii, it was a comfortable warmth at night, the moonlit beach was nearly empty, save the two of them there. It was picturesque in many ways, Mal could see it as a final shot in some romantic movie.

He'd make his way to her quickly, not wanting to keep her waiting too long while he was enjoying the scenery. Mal would smile back at Eli, she was beautiful, the moonlight highlighting her like a goddess from long ago.

"What do you mean by that my dear?"

"Man, it's fuckin' depressing," Eliana said, the beginning of a whine in her voice. She took hold of his hand and began a slow walk, just enjoying every second of it. She rarely thought about things as art, beautiful, maybe, but never as if they could be still.

"I suppose I should have realized it could turn out this way, but...ugh." She looked to her feet, kicking up some sand. The water made her shiver; no, she wasn't very good at handling the cold. She learned harder into him. "I'm not good with all of this. I can try, but I know I'll fuck up."

Mal would intertwine his fingers with Eli, keeping pace with her. He wanted to frown a bit due to the sadness in the air but he could only just grin due to the current moment. Watching the waves roll in made this all too peaceful, it was an interesting mix of melancholy and bliss.

"Grief is a difficult thing to handle, especially with the conditions and such." Mal would kiss Eli's forehead, leaning his head on hers afterwards. "You were doing great dear, you were very supportive and caring, she's lucky to have a friend like you."

"Yeah," Eliana hesitated, then stopped them. She sat them both down, just out of reach from the water and facing the moon. "She's kind of my girlfriend. I might as well bring that up."

She was all nonchalant about it, but honestly, Eliana wasn't sure if he'd be fine with that. It was weird for her when she told him about the others. She kept thinking he would get angry. That he would leave and never look back. There was some other girl out there, a girl with the heart for monogamous relationships. That would be less painful for him, but Eliana was selfish, and she wanted him.

He'd sit down with Eli, wrapping an arm around her. "Oh." A flash of different emotions would go through him, oddly enough it wasn't too painful given what she said, Mal was going to assume that he was getting used to it. He'd settle on alright, a tinge of jealousy and such here in the outskirts of his chest but he did love Eli and he accepted her for who she was.

He'd give her a peck on the cheek, "That's nice dear. Thank you for informing me." Mal would give her a smile and turn his gaze to the ocean.

This was a strange situation for him, the girlfriend with several relationships, he liked to accept people of all sorts though, even ones who were polygamous. And it just so happened that this one had seduced him, then made him fall for her, maybe inadvertently but here they were.

Eliana relaxed when his arm wrapped around her. She laid her head on his shoulder, breathing in slowly. "You got yourself into a fucked up family man; you know that right? I mean, all my crazy had to come from somewhere and it sure as hell wasn't Ireland." It was only a half joke, but it served as her warning for him.

"This might be the straw for you, I think. This place. Secluded with all of us. Meeting an actual family member. They can be intense and sometimes a little cruel. The truth is, Mal, I can't really protect you. I'm not strong enough, physically...emotionally, mentally. No. I can't even --" She paused and sighed. This was the hard part. "I can't even promise that it'll look like I tried to help you."

He'd nod a bit, resting his head on hers, "I can handle crazy dear, no worries, I'm a bit more resilient than I look."

He didn't really like the way she was talking, it sounded like she was marching him off to battle, buck naked, with no weapon. Like he already had the sniper dots doing patterns on his chest. His voice was reassuring, he was trying to make her feel better, and probably himself, whatever she was expecting to happen seemed not good. "Then I guess, I'll be strong enough for the both of us. Don't worry about me dear, I can take on whatever comes my way. And if I can't I'll go out in a blaze of glory." His tone took a bit of a more of a dreary feel to it on that last sentence, considering that that could possibly be his demise considering he was dealing with demons.

"No one is going to kill you!" Eliana said sharply, more out of surprise than offense. "Hell, I didn't mean it like that. They can be intense, but they wouldn't kill you. Tease you mercilessly, yeah, kill you. God, no. You'd have to really fuck with them to get them to do that."

She sighed, running a hand down her face and stretching her legs out, so her toes barely touched the water. "Shit, Mal, I won't let interacting with me be the thing that puts you in the ground. I'm not that low. Even if I am a Demon."
