When he studied her hand, she teared up again, but she wasn't sure why. She nodded. "Once or twice in the past few months." she said quietly. "It never lasts. I always go back to being intangible to the matieral plane after a few minutes." her chin quivered, but she didn't cry. A shiver ran through her, a new experience, since her body was not used to being touched by air.

She wrapped the arm that Corona was not occupying around herself, "I used to think I was dead until they started happening.." she whispered, unsure of why she was so emotional. Perhaps it was the sudden meeting of a friend who she had thought was long gone.

"Hmm.." It wasn't clear if he was listening or not. He yanked her closer to him and started examining her upper arm closely, moving it in different directions. "Does this hurt at all? What about this? Gah.. stupid glasses, they get in the way." He took off Paul's glasses and put them in the pocket of his pants.

"Your skin doesn't seem to have anything weird about it. It seems perfectly physical, nothing out of the ordinary." He let go of her arm, then looked at her eyes. Then, he pressed his face right up to hers and stared into her eyes. At first, it almost seemed like he was going to kiss her, but he didn't. It would probably be a pretty awkward moment for her, but he didn't seem at all embarrassed by his actions.

"Your eyes are fine, too. Nothing strange."

He studied her, and she found it strange. Though, when he pushed his face close to hers, she took an involuntary step back, through a desk. She looked down, and found herself in the center of a desk. She sighed. "Well, back to normal." the teary emotion seemed to vanish from her, leaving behind only a lingering sadness on her. She'd long ago learned to accept what had happened to her.

Otherwise, she didn't know how she'd handle life. She played with her hair absently, probably, she'd have tried to kill herself when she was tangible. Which made her wonder what would have happened if she'd tried. She turned her eyes back to him, stepping out of the table, sadness apparent on her face, but the heavy emotions vanished into nowhere.

He looked at her with sorrow when he realized that she was no longer tangible. He had never heard of such an affliction before, and wasn't really sure what to say. This made him quite uncomfortable, he usually had something to say about everything. But when it came to this, he had no clue. What was he supposed to tell her? He wasn't even in his own body, which made things even worse because he knew he had to give Paul back control soon. He wanted so badly to help her, but he knew that his duties as a Guardian and Paul's mentor took priority.

"Arwen.. I'll find a way to help you.. I promise.."
