Live was silent for a moment. She really needed a shower but she also didn't feel ready yet to go back to her room. She was not mentally prepared for the onslaught of questions the awaited her return from three days of absence from all human activities.

So, she had to figure out a way to take a shower in Kaya's room. But Kaya's room was in the Shadow Realm which, until today, Live believed was a place that was impossible for her to enter. Obviously that assumption was incorrect but that didn't make any sense. Everything she had read said that it was impossible for Walker's to enter the realm in which they governed...unless...

"Kaya...did you happen to ask your dad yet about Shadow Walkers yet?" Maybe the ruler of the realm would have more answers than the books in the school library.

Kaya perked up at the change in subject and remembered back to what her father. Lord Orthus Foxuma, Ruler of Shadows and Darkness. Had told her. "Well, first off he was almost explosively mad at me for asking." he quite literally exploded a bunch of very minor demon imp messengers that had been near by. "Then he proceded to ask me, rather forcefully, where I had heard of such a being. I lied and told him it was from some dusty old books I found written by human seeing as how pissed he was at me I'd rather not potential kill you for just being you but, that did seem to have calmed him down but I'm pretty sure he was rather suspicious of me the rest of the conversation."

Kaya suddered on her side of tge door frame as she remembered that look her father gave her if he wasn't quite sure she was lieing to him. "BUT! he did tell me that they were humans that are given gifts of powers similar to the royal blood of the realm. Some of the limitations that they have though is they cannot enter certain areas of the Realm workout a 'Royal Guide' or 'Anchor' what ever that means. The last one that my father made was a couple hundred years ago."

Kaya mind of trailed of trying to think of what else he had said. "That is pretty much it though. To get more specific information though only the Library in my father's study would have more explanations. But that did make me think, if you're truely a Shadow Walker then someone other then my father had enough power to give you the 'gifts'"

Kaya snapped her fingers at that point "I should ask my sister of she knows. She's the only other royal blood alive in the Shadow Realm..." She skipped the part that her mother was only believed dead, but that wasn't the point at the moment. "...Though I have no idea where she is right now. Give me a couple of weeks and I'll see if I can come more for you. "

"Oh, and if my father asks who you are you my latest lover...plaything...sex pet. Our however you want to word it. He can't sense you're 'shadow walkerness' I've tried and truth be told I can only sense it when I'm directly trying to add or remove stuff from your soul...so yeah...just FYI." She said with a shrug and nonchalant attitude, really it would be for the best if her father didn't think Live was a Shadow Walker, not with his reaction to Kaya asking him about it.

Well...that was really informative. Live's mind whirled with each word that passed Kaya's lips.

Live had always assumed that she was just an "accident". Some freak occurrence when a random shadow spirit passed through a human soul before birth but...the more she thought about it the more she realized how the odds of that happening were extremely low. Also, she had found zero writings on Shadow Walkers specifically, only Walker's in general. This information was literally straight from the Shadow Realm and while she had gained some insight from the creatures she had summoned they had been very, very elusive in their answers. She had often felt like some kind of game to them.

"Yeah..." Live responded, absent minded as her brain pulled her down a spiral of unanswerable questions. "Ask your sister..." She wanted access to Kaya's father's library but she could feel that now was not the time. It would be way to risky, given how Kaya's father had responded. If Live was caught looking up stuff on Shadow Walker's things could go south very quickly.

Live blushed a bit as she grabbed her dirty shirt and pants, pulling them back on as she spoke, "I'll just call myself your, uh, 'pet'." She grabbed the fresh clothes and her dirty undergarments and opened the door, "But sounds like it's at least safe for me to shower in your room."

"Oh go ahead darling, you shouldn't need to worry about any demons other then myself having access to the rooms at any moment. Any that want access have to ask me." Kaya waved her hand and a Portal appeared again leading into Her rooms. "Or if you want I can get you close to where ever you like and allow you to shower somewhere else. i'm not going to just trap you here with me." Kaya gave a soft chuckle, Live was her friend and it wasn't very friendly to trap them anywhere.

"Second door on your left, leads to the bathroom. It's behind the walls of translucent glass bricks. It's a walk in shower, don't turn the heat to high. It get's hot quickly." Kaya said as she moved from the door frame over to her bed and lowered herself down to lay on her side looking at Live. "If you want I can show you how it works..." She left that hanging, it was just in her nature to make very... tempting suggestions.
