Hunting

"I am Isis and he is Osiris" Isis introduced them but Osiris needed to make one thing clear "Calling an Azulian a cat is like calling a God a fish." neither of them where believers in any religion, it was just that this was an easier way to explain it.

Oh they where very interested in hunting with him, they wanted to know the modern predators hunting methods "More playtime." they nodded at the thought. Osiris was bored so he would attempt to bite Isis ear, not so hard that it would bleed but hard enough to give pain but he was interrupted. Osiris hid behind Deith, the duo knew what each other thought and when Isis had seen Osiris gaze she had responded with a look of killing intent.

"In the academy." Osiris said, they had slept for a few hundred years "We need to catch up to this era." Isis explained though it gave a hint it didn't seem to work on those that didn't knew that the species could forever sleep. If Deith wanted to know more specifically he needed to ask more specifically. "Thank you!" they said together but quietly, it wasn't a motion that they where used to but knowing that they would be no longer called cats meant something.

Deith wouldn't know it but the two could be less exited, calm even. When the two where calm they could study the history that they had slept through, the duo would even go so far as to find certain subjects of school interesting. They had one condition to join the academy, do not harm the other students, of course this was only a facade because out of school grounds they had no say in what the duo does or doesn't do.

Osiris walked back to Isis when he no longer could feel the killing intent she made, usually she was okay with some nibbling, among other things. He walked behind her to embrace her, holding his arms around her stomach as well as putting one hand on the wound which would need to be stitched. Due to the thick skin, Azulian's where a pain to stitch. The duo looked at each other and back to Deith "We get exited every night." it was just not always hunting, sometimes they could get exited together, other times with others but they nodded, they would show up if he did.

Prey, like rabbits, where in a hurry to leave as they would any unknown presence. Animal predators like wolves and hawks would instinctively flee when they felt the duos presence. The instinct to flee from the more dangerous predator can be found in all animals, it is part of their survival. The duo lived by hunting sentients and by feeling their fear, keeping their dangerous aura up at all times would allow for the prey to feel fear stronger then normally, this was the duos normal state when hunting.

They had agreed upon meeting in the forest but the duo saw no purpose, everything was prey but this type of prey acted out of instinct and not from fear. The duo had started walking early to arrive at the place in good time, they even had skipped a class or two, they couldn't tell as they had been hyped about this hunt, it was different it was interesting.

In the forest on a path that had grown so much it was barely recognized as a path but more a part of the forest, there one could find Osiris and Isis. While there where no need for words, it felt good speaking verbally once in awhile "How boring." Osiris Would say and hand over the word to Isis who said "Why are we here", unawere if anyone heard them or not

They didn't enjoy hunting animals because scaring them enough they would die from a heart attack, scaring humans on the other way would only lead to more and more heightened sense of fear. Deith got it wrong, the duo didn't count on the prey to stop in their tracks out of fear, they wanted the thrill of the hunt feeding and slowly killing in the prey who would drown the area with their dying screams.

"We like fleeing prey." the duo said slowly, curious, did Deith not see them last night? The duo, being Blood Azulians, could see as well in night as in day so they observed as the shadows danced on Deith. It would take them awhile to figure out how to turn of their predatory aura and it would take them much efforts to keep it of as it was in their nature to leave it on. "So how do you hunt?" Osiris asked though Isis explained "In the modern world.".
