She did what he said, and forced herself to remain still as he ran his hands down her sides. The trail his hands had taken was tingling, and she unconciously held her breath. Once she was in his arms, she leaned her head against his chest, and exhaled quietly.

She was surprised at how stealthy he was, but she didn't pay much attention to it, since even though his arms didn't weaken, it was continuously harder for her to keep them invisible.

Once they were in the parking lot, and she was sure nobody was around, she released the invisibility, practically wilting in his arms. When he put her in the car, she went in limply, and didn't protest to his driving. She trusted him enough. Instead, a simple, breathy, weak, "Okay." was all she said as she leaned her head back, closing her eyes.

She was still shaking slightly, but she didn't have the energy to try and stop. Her breathing was slightly ragged, partially from her fear, and partially because of the affect that his touch had on her. She was pretty sure that after today, she was going to be fine with being cooped up with him forever.

Her eyes shot open, and she glanced at Armand for a moment, as though he could read her thoughts. Mentally, she chastized herself, as her weakness, and sudden adrenaline rush made a wave of invisibility wash over her, turning parts of her invisible at a time.

He was surprised at her head against his chest, he loved it though. He couldn't help but love how she seemed to melt in his arms. Or at least he hoped so. He looked over to her, starting the car he loved how beautiful she looked. He thought it was a shame that she didn't get to show her beauty long or shop much.

"Okay."

He noticed her shaking suddenly his eyes widened, they knew they weren't home. That meant... Did they find her room? Did they prepare for them, he pulled out of the parking lot quickly. "Hold on... I think they might have tried to take us by surprise." After eyeing to make sure she was buckled in he sped off. He was a A+ driver, just not meant for civilian roads. His driving was incrediably fast so fast that it was amazing the police didn't stop them.

They soon reached the dorms, he stopped outside. Shutting the car off after speeding he crused in the parking spot without a noise. "You stay here.", he handed her a walkytalky. "If you see a gangster spot you sign for backup. I'm gonna clear the way, I think we might've had vistors while we were gone." The chances were not many assasins would've thought of that. But he had to be careful, he couldn't risk the possiblity of losing her or having her get shot again.

His reaction alone startled her, but his driving was even worse. She was silent, and pale. She didn't make any sound at all. The only thing that belied that she was totally fine with how fast he was going was that the hand that rested on the armrest of the vehicle had it's knuckle's turning white with her grip.

She nodded tersely when he told her to stay in the car, and pulled her guns from their holsters, resting them on her lap. She was pretty sure Pampers had no idea where she was, and that he'd just arived in the city. But she trusted Armand's judgement, and thus kept an eye on her surroundings. And a finger on the radio.

Armand arrived in the dormroom after nearly breaking the door down to find it empty. He checked the room out and returned to the car, he opened her door slowly and lifted her out of the seat carefully. He the shut the car door making sure it was locked, he continued to carry her into the dorms and through the hallway. His hold on her was still sure and steady, there was no risk of her falling from his grip. He opened the dorm door to her room and brought her to her bed and layed her down on it. His eyes gazed at her's for a split second before her turned away to shut the door.

He then shut and locked the door, and sat on his predetermined chair. "You should rest, you've had a long day." He tucked her in. "I'll order you something to eat when you wake up, I'll keep watch for you." He said in a sweet caring voice. He wasn't so much a army man when he was around her now. He started to break into a part of him unknown to even himself.

He watched her knowing she was tired, all he wanted to do was help her, love her, protect her. He felt nothing else but these passions for her, he had no want to harm her or emotionally break her heart. He decided it was best for her that she rest. When she finally was asleep he moved the the tiny kitchen and started to make them dinner. True he wasn't the world's greatest chief but he knew enough about cooking to whip up a good tasting meal he supposed she'd wake up in a half hour to an hour. And if longer he could always reheat it or keep it in the oven at a low tempature.

Frankie nodded and closed her eyes, desperately trying to keep a hold of herself. He was just so sweet and kind to her. So very unlike the man who had captured her and then forced her to make that call. She relaxed her position, and slowed her breathing, making it seem like she was asleep. She waited for him to get up and leave before she buried her head in her pillow, allowing tears to leak out from her closed eyes.

The image of all the things she'd witnessed Pampers do over the years flashed against her closed eyelids. She whimpered involuntarily as a particularily bloody memory came back to her. She sat up, and removed herself from the bed. She walked uneasily to the entrance of the kitchen, and put her hand uneasily on the door jam, swaying slightly. "Armand..." she said softly, alerting him to her presence.

In the saftey of her own home, she looked a great deal more worn than she had. "I can't sleep." she said simply, not bothering to wipe at her face as another tear coursed down the same path as others had.

Her knuckled whitened as she gripped at the door jam. "I remember.. so much." her shoulders jerked with a silent sob. "And now..He's going to do it to me." she said in a detached way, her eyes dull, almost as though they were devoid of life.

She was shaking again, an indication that her blood sugar was crashing, as well as just how hard the day had been on her. "I can't stay here. They'll find me." she whispered, one hand reaching up to touch the hat that contained her hair absently.

"Armand..."

He heard her voice and turned around see Frankie, tear streams on her cheek. He walked to her and placed a arm lightly on her shoulder with a caring look in his eyes. "I'll protect you." He knew Frankie enough to know she was scared and she had too much emotion strain on her.

His arms wrapped around her bringing her to his chest so she could cry in comfort. He hugged her and rubbed her back in a soothing manner. "I'll be okay."

"I can't sleep."

He wiped the tear away, "You need to eat something to calm you down. And we'll talk, and you'll feel better." He said as if he were a doctor, he held her close.

"I remember.. so much. And now..He's going to do it to me."

He looked at her stroking her hair with his hand. "Frankie, I promice you he won't lay on finger on you or so help me he'll be dead." He said a bit of anger in his voice at the thought of the man laying a finger on Frankie.

"I can't stay here. They'll find me."

"They won't, and if they do I'll protect you." He said in a strong voice, firm and yet soft and loving. He kissed the top of her head.

She didn't hear his words really, but instead wrapped her arms tightly around him. She buried her face in his shoulder, vaguely aware that she was getting him wet with tears. She was still crying, content to just be held by him.

"You need to eat something to calm you down. And we'll talk, and you'll feel better."

She shook her head, still not saying anything. When he kissed the top of her head however, she suddenly got herself under control. She pulled away, flushed and embarassed. "I-I.. I'm sorry. I didn't- um. You didn't.." she shifted away from him, fighting to keep herself under control and keep herself from bursting into tears. "You.. Didn't need to see me like that. Um.. I'm sorry." her lower lip quivered slightly as she backed out of the room, adding in a quiet, defeated voice, "I'll eat in a bit."

She went into the bathroom and closed the door, locking it behind her. She stared at herself in the mirror for quiet some time, before washing her face and leaving it free of makeup, the dark blue lines under her eyes showing her tiredness.

She opened the door out of the bathroom, and stepped out, but didn't have the energy to face Armand. Instead, she pulled out her sketchbook and grabbed a pencil, planning on drawing Pampers.

As her pencil moved mindlessly across the paper, however, the face that materialized before her was not Pampers, but rather Armand. She wasn't really paying attention to what she was drawing, intent on the artistic side of the drawing, like angles and shading, determined to make the picture look like it was ready to jump out of the page at her.

"I-I.. I'm sorry. I didn't- um. You didn't.. You.. Didn't need to see me like that. Um.. I'm sorry. I'll eat in a bit."

He wanted to hold her tight, but he couldn't. He sighed turning around he finished the last touches on the meal. He put the meal on a tray, all prepared with a rose on the side to cheer her up. He exited the kitchen and placed the tray on the table next to her. He looked at her, "I'm sorry if I did anything to get you upset." He said sincerely.

He looked at her sitting beside her, "I hope you like the meal, it's spanish rice with fried chicken and broccoli." He said hoping he had done well, "I saw it in the cook book and decided to give it a try." Armand said with a charming smile, he got off the couch. "Well I guess I'll leave you alone." He said going towards the kitchen, he caught sight of the picture and smiled lightly. "Just so you know my nose is a bit smaller." He said with a smile.

He didn't mean to be a jerk, but he made a observation afterall. He was hungry himself, and he wanted to finish desert. He took the fudge brownies with nuts out of the oven, the smell of chocolatey goodness was overtaken in the air. He really was trying too hard to make her feel better. Though he did feel responsible, but that wasn't why he was treating her like a queen.

Frankie had almost managed to stammer out a word of thanks to him, when he made the comment about his nose. She suddenly became aware, and glanced at the picture that she'd been drawing. She let out a little, "UGH!" sound, and chucked the entire sketchbook at his retreating head.

She didn't really truly want to hit him, and so the book instead hit the side of the door, clattering to the ground quietly. She growled slightly, and chucked her pencil after it.

She took the food he'd prepared, and tasted the rice, wholy unprepared for how entirely delicious it was. She closed her eyes and reveled in the taste, before eating more. She ate quickly, since she was extremely hungry, but paused to inhale the delicious smell of brownies.

She was going to have to cook next. She didn't want him getting to comfortable in her house. But she didn't care too much at the moment. His food was gooooood.

He sighed dishing out his meal he decided she wouldn't want him to be around. He sat in the kitchen at the table, barely able to eat. He just stared at his food wondering why he couldn't get his mind off of her. He toyed with his food, a lovesick look on the boy's face. He wanted her to not push him away so much. He got up and put a brownie on a plate after a ten minutes of toying with his food and brought it to her.

He felt so down at the fact that she probably didn't feel the way he did about her. All these feelings were new, he didn't know what to do about them. She had to have him kiss her, and if that wasn't torture enough now he was feeling the urge to kiss her more. He wanted to hold her and love her and protect her. His mind was racing, he looked like a sad puppy. All his life he put emotions behind him in order to not fall apart and now he was getting emotionally attached to someone.

He placed the brownie on the table, he gave her a weak smile. And walked back to the kitchen, he flopped into the chair laying his arms on the table and resting his head on them. He sighed, "Why do I feel this way about her?" He asked himself aloud.
