Walking one paw in front of the other as Attel looking around cautiously, he had decided that maybe it would be a good idea to explore the surrounding area or where his new home was. It was a beautiful forest, one with many trees and just as many surprises that he would have expected from such an odd island. Groaning quietly as he stopped walking to stretch out his back. While he stretched, he shook his head at the idea of someone ever riding on his back.

The idea seemed odd, as he wasn't a horse, or even close to one. He was bigger, or the same size size of most horses, which made it seem that it would make sense that he was sometimes seen as a huge, fluffy horse. Straightening his back once again, he started to walk before, perking his ears up at a light, unknown sound. Looking around him with a glare, he didn't see anything, but he knew that there was something close, maybe even watching him for whatever reason.

Well, she showed up as promised to where he was the last time and...He wasn't there. Nao frowned. Where could he be? It was hard to lose track of a giant wolf...But then again, it was hard when you couldn't see it in the first place. Luckily for her, his aura was unique compared to the rest of the creatures in the forest and she had finally gotten another staff, this one much more durable than that old wooden one. It was much better in comparison too. Much more reliable! She ventured further than she had ever gone before; far enough to get to the point where the vibe of the forest ended up being downright creepy.

Where are you?... she frowned, picking up the pace in fear of her losing the trail. Luckily she was downwind where canines couldn't sniff her presence out. The woods here just felt wrong but that could be because the lack of sun or because it began to set. She leapt into a tree, settled onto a low branch and concentrated. Hm...The trail was growing faint, but he was close by...

She jumped down from the tree, crunching a few dead twigs beneath her weight. Oh crap!. Nao froze for a second and was suddenly very aware of the fact that she was alone in the dark forest. Had she passed the boundaries where it was forbidden to go? People said there were monsters here...

Blinking at the direction of the sound, Attel turned towards the out of place noise. Maybe it was just a rat, or the wind. Shaking his head lightly, he knew that it wasn't anything of that sort. Snarling a bit, he walked towards the direction of the sound, on the lookout for anything or anyone suspicious. "Hmm....." A low hum escaped him as he scanned the area. Who dared to be in the forbidden forest at this time of day? He couldn't think of anyone off the top of his head. As he stopped walking and thought for a moment, one person did come to his mind. "Nao?" He said looking around for any signs of moment.

Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to go this deep into the woods. She was afraid of what might be out there and a part of her was grateful she wouldn't be able to see it. Back at home, she was always told to stay indoors or stay around the family home. She was never allowed to venture out into the forest around her own home because of the very same reason; monsters. She paused upon hearing a faint snarl off to her right. Oh crap, something must have spotted her. She bit her lip, white-knuckling her staff until--

Whatever it was said her name, but the voice was awfully familiar. She instantly perked up. "Attel? Is that you? Oh thank god, it's creepy out here!" relief flooded back into her veins and she moved towards the source of the voice. With enough concentration, she was able to track that familiar aura and felt much safer than before. "What're you doin' out here? It feels dangerous..."

Smiling lightly as Nao replied, he was glad that he had guessed right. The last thing he needed was to attract unwanted attention to himself, as he was still not used to the island or its people. "It is me yes." He moved closer to the direction of her voice, now being able to see the human. "I love to explore. Explore the forest that is." He moved closer to her by a few steps, making her not have to walk so far to get close to him. "What are you doing out here?"

Suddenly she felt very stupid for asking such a question. Wow he's a wolf for cying out loud. Why wouldn't he be out here? "Well uh yeah...But I heard there's a place in the forest where it's too dangerous...A Forbidden Forest...Something like that," she outstretched her hand that disappeared into the fluff of his coat and her smile brightened. "That's much better! I was looking for you in the same spot I met you at, but you weren't there so I went looking for you," Heh, looking. "Came back as promised! Thought maybe it would be a fun idea to camp with you!"

Grinning at the girl, he nuzzled closer to her as he felt her hand on his fur. It was nice to see her again. Nao was her only real friend, and even though they hadn't known each other for that long, he was happy that he had someone. "I'm sorry Nao, I should have stayed in the same place for you. It would have been easier, but then again I wasn't sure which one of these days you were to visit me." He chirped up happily. "And don't worry about the forbidden place, I'll protect you." He said looking down at her. A few moments paused before he replied to her last comment. "I like that idea."
