How coincidental.

Alexiel laughed. "If you don't have a conscience, you should act more like it," she said. After all, he had helped Catherine, her plant, herself, let Soahc into their home... if he was heartless, he definitely wasn't acting like it.

"You could have told them to go away or threatened them, couldn't you have?" Alexiel questioned, not phased at all by the blood. It didn't bother her in the slightest; it never really had.

Alexiel's eyes took on a dangerous look. "If you get rid of them, I will HURT you," she said. "They depend on you." She wasn't in the mood to argue anymore, but she would if she had to. She went silent and just continued walking toward the apartment.

Alexiel didn't reply, but gave him a look that pretty much gave her answer. If he was really heartless enough to do that, she didn't want him to. Catherine and Soahc had no where else to go, and neither did she. Not to mention that Catherine would be absolutely distraught without Jira around, and to be kicked out by him would just break her heart.

And Cordelia would get angry.

So rather than have all that happen, it would be better to just prevent it.

She was still silent. She walked into the apartment and sort of threw the door open, which would keep it open for him without her holding it open. She was about to go to the couch and lay down, but Catherine had run up and hugged her before she could.

"Alex, you're back!!" The little girl hugged her tighter, confused. There was something different about the older female.

"I gained weight," Alexiel answered, knowing Catherine would be confused. "You can ask Jira how that happened, even though he's apparently heartless." She then returned the hug and went to the couch, laying down.

Catherine just blinked, looking between the two. "Are you two mad at each other?" she asked, since it sort of seemed that way.
