Alexiel closed her eyes tightly, actually feeling pain as the nutrients entered her blood steam. Her weight increased slightly, but just slightly — though her ribs were still visible, they weren't as noticeable as before. She wouldn't be at a stable weight until her bones couldn't be seen, and that was going to take a while.
Once it was done, she blinked, looking at the seed that was dropped into her hands as she looked at him. Why had he even bothered to help? He hadn't wanted to come, so why had he? He could have kept the seed to give to her later.
"Don't go?" Alexiel asked quietly. "That doctor's crazy." She hadn't been the doctor for long, but she had a few things to ask him, and she wouldn't just let him leave.
Catherine nodded. "Ok. If you need help or anything let me know!" She wanted to help, but she wouldn't invade his space. The little girl went into the living room and took out a book, trying to work on her reading skills.
