How coincidental.

Catherine whirled around when she heard the laughter. Her patience with these kids had officially come to its end. "You wouldn't laugh if you couldn't do it, so shut your mouths and pay attention to what YOU'RE doing instead of putting all your attention on someone who needs HELP. There's nothing WRONG with needing help." Her blue-green eyes shot every last one of the snickering children an icy glare before she turned back to Soahc with a smile.

"Come on. I'll help you," the little girl insisted. She wouldn't let anyone laugh at him, and if worse came to worse, she could always bite them, right?

Hooray for being a vampire!

Catherine sighed. "No one's looking at you anymore. Come on. Use your powers and aim carefully, you'll never be able to use them if you can't." She looked at him, hoping he would listen, although doubting very much so that he would. She just wanted to help him, though, was that so bad?

Catherine narrowed her eyes to show she was serious. "Soahc..." she said, "come on. It's not that hard, it's not that bad. Look at the target and shoot where you want your powers to go. Just try one more time?"

Catherine put her hands on her hips. "You did that on purpose," she said. "Don't make me grab your hand and MAKE you aim correctly. I will!!" Alright, so it wasn't really much of a threat... but she didn't really care. "Do it again, and this time, try?"

Catherine frowned slightly. "Just one more try?" she asked of him. "Then I'll leave you alone." For now, at least. She would probably end up wanting to help him later on with something.
