Malvoes would laugh lightly, "Yeah, I grew up in a small town in Michigan, with my mother and my uncle. It was quiet and a bit boring, and everyone did know everyone. Never was able to move an inch without the whole town knowing about it. It wasn't too bad, but i wasn't the best either, got a bit monotonous." He'd look up at the ceiling for a bit, recalling good days and bad, spending time with his family and the few people he cared to call his friends. "But I'm looking forward to the time we have here, new memories and experiences, it'll be fun I think." He'd look at Maddie smiling, glad to have her as a friend.

Maddie realized that after all, this time, they were still standing around awkwardly. "Hey, wanna get some coffee? The school has a cafe right on campus pretty close by. It's fine if you're busy, I just figured if we were going to talk more it might be nice to sit down with a steaming cup of joe. It would be on me. You like coffee, right? I'd love to hear more about your small town; I was always interested in trying to live in a small place but — Hey! Maybe I could tell you a little about San Fransico too!"

Realizing that she was rambling, Maddie covered her mouth with a hand. Her eyes squinted with a large, hidden smile.

He looked back at the admissions office, he was here to figure out his classes and such but it doesn't seemed like there was anyone around to help him, so what's the problem. "Yeah a coffee sounds good, you lead the way." He smiled at her awaiting her initiative, he didn't mind coffee, preferring it one of the many cold styles if was acceptable. But this was more about making friends than the drink itself.
